I was just wondering if anyone knew where I could find the stories: Harry Potter and His Family by Karlynne, and Foretold Love by Foci. I can't find either story on ff.net. Have they been taken down? Or am I just not looking hard enough?

I was also looking for Foretold Love by Foci, but they say that she has removed the story.
Don't really know much more about it.

All of Karlynne's stories seem to have been taken down from FF.net. I pm'd Kandice about it because I was in the middle of Harry Potter and His Family when it happened, and I really wanted to finish reading it. I heard back from her and she didn't know they had been taken down, but she assumed that Alex had done it.
I would really, really, really like to finish reading Harry Potter and His Family. I am hoping maybe someone on the board archived it and would be willing to share it with me. It seemed like a really promising story and I was enjoying it greatly til real life stepped in and kept me from reading it for a while.
Alex, if you have a copy of it, would you mind sharing it with us.
If anyone else has it, and would be willing to share, I would be forever grateful.

Nicole, I luv your avatar! Thank you . That's such bad news, both these fics are among my most favourite. Does anyone have either fic archived? I too would really LOVE to read them again, especially Foretold Love. Thank you in advance if anyone does. |

I've read somewhere (sorry, can't remember where) that Mugglemin has Foretold Love on file, as she was the beta (once again, I'm not sure). I've send Mugglemin a PM, but unfortunately she hasn't answered yet.

I went looking for some of foci's stories awhile ago, but she said on her profile that she was taking all her stories off ff.net (sad face). She had a really beautiful story up for awhile called Fulfillment.
Fortunately, there are a few very, very, very good stories in various places, including one on this site called When the Leaves Change. On ff.net, my favorites are Lead Me Not Into Temptation and Predictions, Misconceptions, and Transfigurations. Both these stories have never been completed, but they are so incredibly well-written that they are must-reads.

I've got both of these stories. I PM'd both mugglemin and nicole and they sent me a copy straight away. My advice would be to do the same. I would happily forward a copy myself but as I do not have permission from either authors it would perhaps be better to ask the others. They are both brilliant stories though! Well worth the read!
