Sometimes I wonder if Albus has his head screwed on properly, I can see it from his point of view but Minerva is having his baby, they are in danger with him or not with him. I hope Minerva forgives him but at the moment, she has more important things on her mind. Another great chapter from you and looking forward to the next one  Clayre x |

I can only agree : Albus really behaved like an idiot !! Hopefully Min will forgive him ...

I liked Fawkes so much  A bit of comic relief in a very drama-filled chapter.

Oh no! How could Albus be so stupid? I know you'll patch things up, though, and I can't wait to read it. I'm worried about Minerva and the baby(ies) now. I'll be anxiously waiting for tonight's update. (It's my birthday, so it better be a good one.  ) |

That light is driving me crazy. This baby is of this world, right? I'm glad Minerva was able to forgive his idiocy and I hope Albus won't repeat that mistake again. Thanks for the update.

Humm, and the plot thickens even more. So the light may not be restricted just to Minerva, it looks as if Albus might be able to do it to or again maybe just to save the ones he loves? I am glad to hear we are only in part one still. I am all about the long haul with this story ~ it has so many layers! I loved that Poppy and Alastor are sneaking around in the Dumbledore house, very appropriate for the 1940s especially considering Mrs. Dumbledore had her sons in the 1840s. |

There goes that light again!! Well at least that gives us a sign that it's alive and well!! And now that Albus is right in the head again, Minerva will still have a wedding! I hope to read more soon. Keep up the great job.

Well, once more a crisis has been resolved. How many more things can happen to our couple. I'm glad Albus and Min have made up and are going to go forth with the wedding. Now if you would only explain that weird light.
Wow, this is only the last third of part one. Good, that means that I can look forward to many more posts from you on this fantastic story.
I loved it when Min and Albus made up, and I like Poppy and Alastor sneaking around (and feeling slightly guilty about it) in the Dumbledore Manor. Oh well, what Mrs. Dumbledore doesn't know won't hurt her.

I'm glad to see that they've (Minerva & Albus) made up. I'm very curious about the blue light!
And Poppy and Alastor sneaking around like school-kids ;D.

Aw, that's so sweet! I love that they were bonded already, how wonderful. And I'm very very glad you didn't end the chapter halfway through. That would indeed have been very evil. What a sweet chapter! It was quite touching. I had a suspicion when the Druid said Albus was already bonded that he was bonded to Minerva. I am glad to see something has at least come easy for Albus and Minerva. Don't work to hard tomorrow night and we will be good while you were gone. |

So the blue light had something to do with bonding... It's nice to get mysteries solved.

Thank you, thank you, thank you for not giving into the evil suggestion that you only post half of this tonight. I loved the slight break for a commercial message.
So, the light has to do with the bonding between Albus and Minerva. Yes, our couple would be one of the rare cases where it happens. I am glad that Albus told her to go put on her dress for the wedding and that they are going to go ahead and do it in front of family and friends.
I will miss your story tomorrow evening, but will wait patiently for the update on Friday. By the way, I for one, do get your reference (same cat time, same cat channel), in fact I used it the other day in reviewing another story only I said Same wizard time, same wizard channel. I am old enough to have watched that show the first time around. I still watch it on occasion.

Thank for you being lovely and posting both parts of the chapter, it would have been very cruel to have left us all hanging and thinking what in the name of merlin was going on though I will admit to thinking that the Druid was talking about Minerva.
Can't wait for the wedding and to see baby Dumbles!

I wonder if I could have gotten away with telling my parents we were already connected instead of having to go through the whole ordeal of a wedding. :-) Probably not. I can't figure out how far along Minerva is but that baby is already powerful.

Minerva working in the kitchens with the house elves...now there's an image! How sad to think that their lovely days of doing nothing together are almost over. I do hope they can work something out so she can stay at Hogwarts. Lovely chapter, as always. |

Are they going to have to live apart? That just seems so wrong. I'm not certain I would want my baby in the castle with those kids but then I wouldn't want to be away from my husband all week either.

Can't Minerva and Little Dumbles live in Hogsmeade and then Albus could go home at night and most weekends? Obviously there would be some night and weekends he would be on duty but they could be closer if she lived in Hogsmeade.
