Doppelganger is German for twin or lookalike. This challenge, should any of you intrepid souls decide to accept, involves the brothers Dumbledore changing places for a very good reason.
1) The reason for the change is entirely up to you. However, the change must be for at least a week. Maybe someone lost a bet, one is suffering from an embarrassing illness that he doesn't want to get out, whatever.
2) Each brother must do their utmost to behave like the other, but some things do slip out.
3) There must be one person or thing that finds out about the switch somehow. Can be anyone but Minerva. This can be Fawkes, a staff member, a goat, a portrait, really anything. Said thing can blackmail the twin or keep silent, observe the chaos, or make the chaos worse, anything goes.
How this switch affects Minerva is up to you. Whether she finds out or not is up to you. Though it may be interesting to see how she would find out.
Ideas to Consider:
- They could be "involved" but Albus suddenly starts claiming a headache, one that lasts a week. This drives Minerva to seek ways to put a little spice in their relationship or suspect that there is another woman.
- Minerva visits the Hogshead and commiserates with the bartender about her unrequited feelings, thinking that she's talking to Aberforth. Aberforth gives her some advice that she tries to put into practice. Hmm?
- Aberforth does such a bad job that everyone thinks the headmaster has been possessed. Someone then attempts an exorcism.
As you can see there are many ways to be creative. Get creative !
