Challenge 43
I liked the idea of writing about a female issue from the male point of view. I decided the tables should be turned and have the women write about a male flaw from the female point of view. We don’t have monthly problems (despite your claims) and although I did a rather introspective search I couldn’t find a flaw within me to point out. Perhaps my flaw is refusing to accept that I have none.
So ladies, whatever stereotypical male issue you can dredge up will suffice. You should begin racking your brains immediately as it will probably take most of the week just searching for a topic. The challenge ends September 27.
I have special instructions for the twenty ladies that reviewed my challenge response. I was quick to note that most did not acknowledge the abuse heaped upon poor innocent males and none offered an apology.
So I challenge these ladies to:
A. Participate in this round, whether a drabble or a novel, or
B. To leave a comment on this thread acknowledging the infallibility of males and our superiority over females.
Just so there isn’t any confusion, the 20 ladies are: Gingernewts, Nerweniel, Sensiblyquirky, The Gryffindor Seeker, Kimberly, Alesia, Lady Jolly, Jaya, Mugglemin, Hogwarts Duo, Miss Q, JKMcGonagall, Quill of Minerva, Karmin, Jessabelle, Tabbymin, Palafanaiel, Angeldust, Kandice, and Tayryn. Is there a Minerva among you?
There are many writers in that bunch so please don’t resort to typical female behavior by whining, pouting, complaining, bitching, moaning, groaning, sniffling, tears of any kind, claims to have cramps, a headache, housework, schoolwork, or children. In essence try to be a man this week and step up to the plate. Ask yourself if you are a Minerva or a mouse.
As the sole active male on the board who took a risk and participated, I expect 100 percent participation from all of you. (Although the ability of most women to organize themselves in a short period of time is minimal, try your best)
P.S. I had great fun writing this challenge and all chauvinistic remarks were made in jest and is not intended to inflame or anger. Please don’t PM me.
