It took me forever but this is what I have. My husband inspired it last night. Kudos to Wetembers for helping me see the funny side of it instead of braining him.
Where?
Minerva rolled over in bed. She was so tired. The students had worn her to a frazzle by the end of the day and after supper she spent hours grading papers. All she wanted to do was sleep; sleep for ten hours at least.
She was just drifting off to slumber when her husband of twenty years entered the bedroom.
“Minerva? Where did you put my blue silk hat? It’s the only hat that matches these robes and a meeting was just called for the members of the wizengamot.”
Minerva opened one eye and looked at her husband. The bright light caused her to squint and she yawned before speaking.
“It’s in the closet.” She didn’t comment on his turquoise robes or her dubious belief that any hat could match those particular robes. She put the pillow over her face and tried to even her breathing.
Twenty seconds later she was disturbed again.
“Where? I don’t see it.”
She muttered an unrepeatable oath that he couldn’t understand because the pillow muffled her words. It was lifted seconds later.
“What did you say?”
“I said it’s on the second shelf, in the closet.”
The pillow was gently replaced on her face and Minerva began to count to ten.
“Where Minerva? I still can’t find it,” they spoke in unison.
Minerva sat up in bed. “Honestly Albus, are you a wizard or not? Does the word Accio have any meaning to you at all?” She climbed from bed and marched over to the closet. She reached up to the second shelf, removed a jumper and handed him his hat.
“Oh, it wasn’t there before,” he explained.
Minerva rolled her eyes and returned to bed.
“Minerva, have you seen my shoes?”
