Hello
I know I have been away for ages and I am sorry but I am sure, I haven't even be missed but when I saw this challenge, I thought I would give it ago and it might get me back into the mood of writing again.
Not my finest piece of work but I did enjoy writing it. Took me about 30 mins to knock out so I hope you aren't too disappointed.

Being Stalked
Green eyes glared out from a bush in the darkness of the night, they scanned the area before the small tabby cat slipped out from it's hiding place.
The small tabby padded across the green, moist grass quickly and traveled with an air of elegance. As she moved, she was constantly on the look out for any sign of trouble. She could sense it in the air and was following the stench, all the time, keeping her wits about her.
Stopping briefly to turn to her right, the cat's eyes narrowed and her ears pricked forward as the sound of a twig snapping behind caught her attention. She turned around and came whisker to whisker with a old foe of many years, Miss Norris.
Miss Norris lunged forward, her claws sharpened and wanting to cause pain, the tabby knew that Argus Filch had probably sharpened those claws himself to give his precious cat something to gloat about. The tabby arched her back and mewed loudly at the approaching cat before darting out of the way. The scruffy Miss Norris zoomed past her and fell flat on her face which only served to make her more angry.
Now the tabby, wasn't one for violence, she only really resorted to it when it was a matter of pride and instinct and Miss Norris was pushing her to react. The Tabby's green eyes once again narrowed, a small angry hiss escaped from her mouth as she glared at the caretakers cat.
Miss Norris hissed back louder, perhaps it thought that the louder the hiss, the more menacing it looked and sounded though it had the opposite effect on the tabby cat who looked like, it was smirking slightly.
Miss Norris stalked towards the Tabby, backing the smaller cat into a corner where it would be easy to pounce upon it. However, this tabby knew what the other cat was trying to do and had her wits about her. She let Miss Norris believe she had the upper hand but she didn't, the cat never learned which was always an amusement.
Miss Norris lowered down on her front paws, her back arched and ready to pounce while the tabby cat simply stared her attacker in the eye, taunting her almost. The bigger cat lunged forward but got hit off course by a yellow beam shot from a wand.
The tabby looked in the direction of the beam and rolled it's eyes before wandering over to where Miss Norris was now laying but as soon as she got there, Miss Norris was on her feet and charging back to her faithful servant.
The tabby then turned to look at the man with the silverly beard again before transforming into the woman, who people knew so well. Minerva McGonagall stood in the moonlight and placed her hands on her hips.
"Why did you do that?" she asked briskly.
"I thought I would come to your rescue," came the soft reply of Albus Dumbledore "You looked like you needed to be rescued."
"Well appearances can be deceiving Albus," she retorted "I was not in need of your help, I had the situation covered."
"So it seemed." answered Albus, his blue eyes twinkling brightly despite the darkness around them.
Minerva glared at him over the rim of her square, black framed glasses and pushed her lips together tightly.
"I always want to kiss you when you do that," remarked Albus with a grin.
"Do what?" snapped Minerva
"Push your lips together like that," he answered "very kissable."
"We are not hear to talk about kisses Albus," she replied, "we need to sort this hero complex out before it ruins everything."
Albus chuckled and shook his head as his wife marched past him, her hands still on her hips which made her look rather funny and he couldn't take her overly serious.
Minerva swept forward, not looking where she was going, she was annoyed because Albus had thought that once again she needed to be rescued when she had, had everything planned out. As she approached the gravel path that led to the entrance hall, she lost her footing and fell, twisting her ankle as she hit the ground.
"Tabby," called Albus as he jogged towards her "are you okay?"
"Do I look it?" she replied with a snap.
"Well....." he began, only to be cut off by his wife "please be my hero now because I have hurt my ankle."
Albus smiled, she had asked so nicely and that pulled at his heartstrings. He bent down and managed to pull her to her feet before he swept her into his arms and he called her into the school.
"My love," he said softly "this is why I have an hero complex."
"Well I love you being my hero!" she replied, kissing him on the cheek and then smiling "but only on my terms!"
The End.
