A/N: A little confusing but if you can follow, kind of cute. -tabby
“Minerva! Minerva, where are you?” Albus scanned the room after walking in when no one answered his impatient knock at the door.
“I’m in here Albus!” Minerva. How her voice could always brighten his day, he never knew. And there she set, with young Mr. Potter seated next to her on the living room couch.
“I’ve just been telling Mr. Potter about my family traditions, and I think I’ve come up with a solution to get my aunt off my back.”
“Oh?” The tall man inquired gleefully.
“Yes. If I take Harry here to the McGonagall family ball, then maybe I can get Aurora to shut up. She’s so fond of him anyways. I don’t see why-” His smile dropped.
“Fine then. I’ll leave you two alone.” Albus interrupted and stormed out of the room.
“Albus! Albus!!!” She caught him by the arm. “What is with you?”
“Nothing- nothing at all.” He said.
“Albus, stop that this instant. You’re acting like a big baby.” Minerva told him warningly but he jerked his arm away and left her room.
“I don’t know what’s wrong with him.” She spoke softly to Harry.
"He likes you" Harry said in a sing-song voice.
"No. No he doesn't. He just can't believe I asked you to the ball instead of him."
Later that evening, Minerva dropped by Albus’s quarters and there she found a big surprise. Albus Dumbledore was sitting with Severus Snape and Snape was rubbing Albus’s leg with such sexual intentions. That was it. She slammed the door and Albus looked up just in time to see her leave. He quickly moved to the hallway where he saw Poppy, Xiomara, and Pomona walking down the corridor but no Minerva.
“Looking for Miss-I’m-in-a-hurry?” Mara chanted.
“Did you see her?”
“Run down the hall with tears in her eyes? Yeah, and what HAVE you done, Mr.?” Mona retorted.
“She came in on Snape’s latest reenactment of the Patil twins and their boyfriends.” Albus said.
“Oh dear.” Poppy whispered.
“Lets go.” Mona turned and led Albus to Minerva’s door. Mara thrusts a magically summoned box of chocolates and roses into his hands.
“All you have to do is say the magic words.” Mara said.
“Magic words?”
“Minerva? Minerva, it’s Poppy. I’ve got that potion you wanted.” The door opened and the girls thrust Albus inside and closed the door. Of course, they also had Fred’s and George’s extendable ears to listen in on the conversation. Or the part of the action they COULD hear.
“Albus, I don’t want to hear it.”
“Hear what?”
“An explanation of any kind.”
“Well, then I guess I’ll have to save the ‘I love you more than Potter does’ after you eat the chocolates, put the roses in water, and kiss me, won’t I?”
“No. You can say ‘I love you’ any time you want because I never believed that Severus loved you more than I.”
And that's all that would be heard... until a few minutes later in the bedroom.
