A/N: I don't know if this really answers the challenge but I thought I would post it anyway. I have written anything in such a long time and so it maybe a little rusty....okay, a lot rusty.
I wrote this in about 40 mins and it hasn't been beta read. I am sorry that it isn't overly good but my excuse is, I haven't written anything AD/MM in such a long time.
Though it isn't a lemon, it does make mention to something a little naughty but not as naughty as you may think.
BTW : The words surrounded with ** ** are their thoughts.
Albus Dumbledore strode into the Great Hall and glanced up at the staff table. He couldn't stop his eyes from twinkling as they rested upon the sight of the one women that made up his world. She was sat, trying to look interested in what Gilderoy Lockhart was saying and to any one else but Albus, she was doing a very good job of pretending to be listening. Albus could tell by the tightness in her jaw that she had had enough of fabricated stories and what she actually wanted to do, was to pull out her wand and hex the annoying DADA professor into kingdom come.
Albus made his way to the table and sat down. He greeted his staff warmly as under the table, he placed his hand on Minerva's thigh and gave it a gentle squeeze.
"Albus, dear fellow!" greeted Gilderoy loudly. "I was just telling your lovely deputy all about my travels in Asia and I must share them with you too because you see, I was treated like a God there because of my effects to rid all the dark magic from that baron, untamed land."
Albus heard a slight groan to the side of him and he looked at Minerva, his eyes twinkling merrily.
"A god you say!" commented Albus.
**"Do not encourage the pompous twerp"** came Minerva's invading voice into his mind. A few years ago, Albus had taught Minerva to be a skilled Legilimens and since then, they had been able to talk to each other without opening their mouths. This had made for many enjoyable staff meetings and he sometimes found it hard not to laugh out loud when he heard her beautifully sarcastic comments.
"Yes, similar to Zeus!" replied Gilderoy proudly as he leaned over Minerva slightly. "You should have seen it Albus. A sight to behold."
**"He must be wearing a whole bottle of aftershave or maybe it's knat repellent." ** came another thought from Minerva.
Albus had been taking a sip from his goblet as her thought fluttered though his mind and choked as the water went down the wrong tube. He caught Minerva smiling softly to herself and shot back a reply.
**"Obviously trying to win a certain deputies heart"**
**"Over my dead body"***
"Zeus was a great God, the king." Continued Gilderoy with flair, unaware of the silent conversation his companions were having. "I know that it was perhaps a little much to compare me to Zeus but I did deserve some recognition."
**"Can he get any more up his own....."**
**"Minerva, mind your language"**
Albus caught her eye and shot her a smile as he turned his attention back to Gilderoy.
"What exactly did you do?" Albus questioned.
**"Why are you encouraging him? There are plenty of other things worth talking about than his so called defeats of dark magic."**
"Well, erm," stuttered Gilderoy. "I erm, defeated a dark warlock. Yes, a warlock."
Albus smiled kindly at the man and nodded his head. The man was so full of stories that it was kind of endearing.
**"Endearing?"** came a questioning voice. **"As endearing as a boil."**
Albus coughed to clear his throat and prevent a rumble of laughter escaping from his lips.
**"That thing you did last night," ** he shot back **I would like to talk about that**
He withheld a chuckle as he heard her gasp. Gilderoy had heard it as well and he had placed his hand over hers in a comforting manner.
"Oh Minerva," said the blonde haired wizard affectionately. "I was in no danger. I am very skilled you know but your concern touches my heart deeply."
"Hmm yes Gilderoy," replied Minerva who ALbus could see was trying to fight the blush that was threatening to over take her face. If he had been a jealous man, he would have thought that Gilderoy attention was making her blush but he knew for a fact that last nights activities were playing across her mind.
** "Albus Percival Wulfric Brian Dumbledore" **
** "Yes my love?" **
** "If you continue, I will assure you that I will never do what I did again." **
"Minerva," continued Gilderoy who still hadn't released her hand. "You must come with me when I go over in the summer. They would treat you like a Goddess."
Albus watched with amusement as Minerva removed her hand from under Glideroy's offending hand and straightened up in her chair.
** "Continue what my dear," ** Albus continued while smiling at the scene before him. ** "I just wanted you to know how much I enjoyed your lips being there." **
This time, Minerva was unable to fight her blush and her whole face lit up with a pinkish tint. She shifted in her seat and reached out for her goblet of cold water but Gilderoy got their first and handed it to her.
"You know there is nothing to be shy about Minerva," he told her with a smile. "I have seen the way you look at me and your reaction. We would be great company for one another."
** "And I enjoyed how your tongue lavished attention on me." **
Albus felt her try to block him from her mind but her defences weren't as strong to block him out completely but then maybe she didn't want him out of her mind completely because she was throwing some evil cursed in his direction.
"Gilderoy," she said briskly and professionally. "I don't know what you mean."
"I think we do Minerva," replied Gilderoy with a suggestive arched eyebrow.
"Excuse me, I have some marking waiting for me in my office." She said as she quickly rose from the table and threw her napkin on the plate in front of her. "Goodbye!"
Gilderoy rose as if to walk out with her and Albus watched as she quickly pushed him back down into his seat. He watched as she turned her back to him and quickly made her way through the centre of the hall. As she reached the doors that led out into the Entrance Hall, she turned and looked up at Albus.
** "You are on the couch tonight!" **
Albus shuddered slightly at the intensity of her thoughts and he knew that he was in big trouble.
"Albus!" Gilderoy said again.
"Erm yes?" asked Albus, frustration evident. "What did you say?"
"I said," replied Gilderoy. "Looks like I still have it when it comes to making a lady blush."
Albus turned and looked at the DADA Professor and rolled his eyes.
"If you say so Gilderoy," he said. "If you say so."
