I'm not sure if anyone's noticed this or not, but I'm gonna post it anyway, just in case you haven't because it is too cute to have missed if you haven't! I was looking for stuff to use in my video, and of course, the dance had to be considered and if possible used but while I was looking through the dance I noticed that you could see them two other times during the dance. One, when Viktor lifts Hermione while they're dancing, you can see Albus and Minerva in the background. It's not clear, I'll be damned if they're not dancing really close together. And the second time, when there is the shot of the a whole group of students and teachers dancing, the whole group of men lift their partners. If you look to the right side of the shot you can see a black brim being lifted into the air. It's...uhm...not as high as the others. Then we see Dumbledore lowering someone with the rest of the group before Minerva comes into shot and she looks like she's laughing. Hope you liked, especially if you've never noticed before and sorry the pictures aren't that clear. Edit: I've made a little video of the second part. It's been resized and paused. You can see it's them and that Albus is lifting her. It's in mp4 format though. So you will need to have a recent version of quicktime, or a program called VLC Player. The latter, I find, handles mp4 better. Anyways, download here.

I've noticed that too when I watched the movies (I had to put it in slow motion), I don't think Albus lifted Min up though. I would have be wonderful if he did....maybe he did, but I just don't think so.

I would have be wonderful if he did....maybe he did, but I just don't think so. I didn't think it was right at first, but he does. Really. I would upload the clip and zoom in etc, but I'm not at my computer. I was watching it on VirtualDub, which is a video encoding program and you can see the videos frame by frame... I went back and forth a lot. Lol. Obsessed? Moi? No way! You're welcome, morgainegaunt!

In the first three, they look like they've either just kissed or they're just about to. Or is that me? ;D

Yeah, especially in the second one, they look like they're staring into each other's eyes *happy sigh* I had never noticed any of this before, I thought the rest of the dance would be as unromantic and painful to watch as the first bit, so thanks for sharing and i just love the idea of him lifting her into the air, especially in front of everyone

Oh, he's actually looking at her! (He doesn't look at her when he takes her hand. At least I don't think so.)

Yeah, he doesn't look at her when he takes her hand. He glances in her direction to make sure he's not about to pull Hagrid out for a dance (Well, that's the way I saw it. Lol. ) and pulls her onto the dance floor. It's a good thing she looks happily surprised.

Hee hee hee that made me laugh! The thought of Albus accidentally pulling Hagrid out for a waltz is a brilliant image! I love the way she looks at him as they walk out, but he really should have looked at her the same way instead of just groping about for her hand. It looks kind of weird aside from anything else.

Pinnacle, tabbycat and Sir Francis Drake's Heir, I'm glad you enjoy this tid bit.
Rachel, glad you enjoyed the image of a, probably, embarrassed Albus dancing with a, probably flustered and confused, Hagrid. It is quite amusing isn't it? Lol. (edit: Someone should write a fic about it!)
The Anglophile, I too, wish he had looked at her. It would've been nice, though again, I loved her pleasently surprised expression when he does. It's cute.

ahhh thank ou soooooo much. I tried to see f he was liftig her soooo many times, but I only could use the DVD player on slow...not great quality.
and they're almost in close embrace, or what I know as close embrace in Argentine Tango, which in Tano is par for the course, but for a waltzy thing sounds boarderline dangerous, unless you really trust your partner...awww

Honestly I'd never noticed that until you took screenshots. Thanks for sharing. I am downloading the player now because I totally needed something to take screenshots. So you are soooooo awesome for listing it!!! I may screenshot some Maggie movies now especially Jean Brodie . . because there just are not enough photos of it out there. *EDIT* Video file doesn't exist anymore.
