On the delected scenes, we haven't the scene were Hagrid is dismiss and Minerva receive four stunners in her chest... What do you think about this ? Me I wanted this scene, it was can be interresant  source : Veritaserum |

they probabley just skipped the whole thing (gets mad face) i think they should of put moe of mcgonagall in the scene (to me she is really important in harry's life)

I was holding out hope until the very end of the deleted scenes on the DVD.
It was infuriating that the scene was not included. I agree with mmadforever that Minerva is a very important factor in Harry's life...Good for you!

I know! I was hoping they'd have at least something in the deleted scenes with Minerva, since she didn't get much screen time at all, so that was a bummer..  |

i was just wondering why they had a picture in the press release in july of maggie smith in her minerva costume sitting in a wheel chair.
and it doesnt look like a modern day chair either, it looks like it was meant for the movie!
ughhh....
this is going to bother me until i find out...

I wondered that as well. I mean, it makes no sense that Maggie would need the wheelchair, and even if she did, why would she be shooting there on the "Hogwarts" grounds? |

oh now im so pissed, they really do Maggie an injustice, get her all dressed up, film scenes and then barely use it! oh the insanity! why not just stick a knife in her poor back? i think McG and Maggie are both underappreciated and this highly upsets me !!!

I was disappointed. I wanted to see much more of McGonagall especially since her roles in the last two books are not as large.

I am so mad, I wanted to see those scenes so bad. We should all write a nasty letter to whoever produced, and edited the mess they call Harry Potter 5. I'm infuriated. She would have been so great in them to. It sucks.

O.M.F.G. I'm so gonna shoot something. WTF?! How could they cut it out? *heaves a sigh of relief* luckily I didn't get the dvd. It would be a total waste of my money then. How could they cut it out?! Darn it. Gosh... I'm so gonna kick their arses.. Maybe not. I refuse to waste my energy. Maggie and McGonagall is SO underappreciated.

totally ****** about that! was looking forward for that as deleted/extra scene but must have cut it from that too.
petition to warner brothers to get it posted up on the Harry Potter website or release a Harry Potter 1.5 dvd edition (like x-me have even more extras than original dvd lol)

I'm entirely frustrated with the way they handled her character in all the movies. And Michael Gambon, for not having actually read the books, but that's a different wound. When I become incredibly famous (ha!) and extremely rich (HAHA!) I plan to make a fringe version of Harry Potter that's basically entirely MMAD. I plan to win a load of Independent Spirit awards, and gather acclaim as an Indi-Film maker. What do you think of my plan?  |

The bonus features on OOTP werent that great anyway. Compared to special features on previous movies, it was pretty weak.

yeah she gets less n less work in it n when does they do it diff way =[ great idea  def go see it yeah the tonks thing was good but thought deleted scene were rubbish- only 10 seconds extra for each scene they cut out-except starting feast but understand that lol |

Yeah, the deleted scenes were rubbish, IMO. They were mostly absolutely pointless. However, I have to admit that the one about the Starting Feast with Sybill made me lol. ;D |

I totally agree with all of you. The pictures were why I asked my mom for the DVD. I so think Maggie deserves more screne time. I wanted the stunner scene. I wanted the job interview for Harry and her interrogation, and I so thought that she should have been there when Dumbledore left. (Purses lip and give computer Mcgonagall stare) I'm going to be ticked if her fight scenes aren't in deathly hallows! In books five, six, and seven she had very little chapter time; but when she did it held major clues! If she doesn't get more air time in these next to movies I'll be ticked! Especially since I like to think of myself as Dumbledore and McG's kid.lol (We all deserve to have an insane daydream)
Oh and to mcgonagallsgirl: I love your idea. Need any help with your scripts? or an assistant? LoL

IF Minerva isn't in the next to with the scenes she's supposed to hae I'm going to be highly ticked! Maggie is the best of actresses and she deserves to shine! SO give her the bloody parts!
