That clip with Ron was most amusing! I saw Minerva several times (and had to be a geek and rewind each time, shhh), so here's hoping there's more of her than in PoA.
I still think I'm going to be screaming about all the places it deviated from the book, but that's just what I do. With any book turned film. As long as there's more story than last time I'll be relatively pleased.

In my opinion this movie looks much better than the last, but seeing Minerva three times in the trailer helps a great deal! Is it just me or did anyone else think of the Sound of Music during Ron and Minerva's scene? My imagination runs wild, and I want the next bit of the scene to be Albus coming up behind them and giving a proper demonstration to the students by taking Ron's place...I'm sure he'd have no problem finding Minerva's waist (among other things)  Christy |

LOL Ok first off "HI! I'm jessie!" *shakes hands* Anyways! I am SO stoked for this dude! And did anybody besides me and my crazy sis think M&M's was crying!? There was one part where her hands were over her face! I saw it! *raises hand high* And the part with her and Ron was hilarious!! We couldn't stop giggling! This one looks SO much more promising! Maybe the movie people took my advice and but Minerva in more! ( yea I wrote them....hehe  )) |

The Leaky site has pics to book shot by shot synopsis. They say that the pic of Min with her hand over her month is from when Harry returns with Cedric's body. (I am not sure that is right because there are a couple of other pictures that don't seem right either.) But yes it does seem like there is more Minerva in this movie.
It looks to be MUCH better then PoA.

OMG!!! I am SSSOOOO EXCITED FOR THIS MOVIE!!!!!!!! I cant wait cuz there is WAY more Minerva in this movie, and cuz it looks action packed!!

Oh ok. Well that helps my mind a bit. We've been like worried all day because we KNEW there wasn't a part in the books where she like cried so we've nearly burnt the pages in our books from flipping though so much.
I KNEW they would listen to my letter! Bwuahahaha!

Hey Christy, sounds like a plot bunny to me. (Unless someone has already done it, then please direct me!) Now I have that song they dance to stuck in my head!! (The Lindler....I'm sure I'm spelling that wrong!)
I agree that this movie looks a lot better than PoA....it's not as dark it seems, even though the book touches on some pretty dark things.
Can't wait til November.

Hey did anybody notice in the new pics of Albus that came out this week he is wearing a ring on the third finger of his left hand? I checked the PoA pics and he is wearing one then too.

Where can I find this shot of Minerva crying over cedric's body? I've looked at the latest trailer, but can't see it...can anyone post a link for me? All I've seen so far is Minerva and Ron, and of course the bits we identified ages ago as Minerva and Albus dancing...any new bits would be appreciated!

I don't know how to find that one, but The Leaky Cauldron has scans up from the new 2006 calendar. For the month of November there is a picture of the scene when Harry returns to Hogwarts with Cedric's body. Harry is lying on top of Cedric and Fudge, Minerva, and Albus are with him. The scene where she has her hands over her face is probably part of that scene. Mugglenet, and HPANA have the calendar scans too. It is a great picture of Min and Albus.
I just went back to The Leaky Cauldron and checked out the new trailer. The scene of Min with her hands over her face is on it somewhat near the end. The scenes leading up to it are: Harry grabs at his scar when it hurts, then it shows the statue in the graveyard, next it shows Wormtail doing something to the potion, after that it shows the Dark Mark being cast, then an open eye (Harry's I presume), and next is the scene of Minerva with her hands over her face.
To find the trailer on The Leaky Cauldron, you will have to go to The Leaky Cauldron, click on News Archives on the left, and scroll down to September 15th to find the downloads. I used the one labeled QT (High). I hope this helps you.
I just tried something else. Keep scrolling down when you get to Sept. 15th on The Leaky Cauldron, til you come to Goblet Trailer and Shot by Shot. Keep going down til you come to the link title Goblet of Fire Screengrabs. Click on it and then scroll down til you come to next and click on it. You have to keep scrolling through the pics and clicking on next for about twenty screens. The twenty-first screen has the pics of Minerva you are looking for.
I don't know how to link it for you, maybe someone else can.

For the picture with Albus' ring go to mugglenet.com, and right on the front page they have new pictures from the fourth movie. Click on the first one. McGonagall is kneeling with Dumbledore and Harry is sorta lying there. You can see Albus' gold ring on his left ring finger, and it is a good shot of Minerva too.
