Death in the 7th Book

Like I said, this is assuming that one of the ones to die will be Harry or Voldemort (unless of course you think Harry and Voldemort will both die or won't die at all). These are just some of the options that I've heard. I couldn't fit everything, but I really enjoy hearing people's theories about this, so if you've got one, please post it.

Btw, I messed up the post and didn't put the choice that neither Harry nor Voldemort would die. If that is your choice, please post your explaination for both characters that will die.

Hi! I chose a Malfoy cos I think Draco is most certainly a dead man walking!!!!
Just thought I would point out though that if we are refering to the interview with Jo Rowling on the Richard and Judy show, then what she actually said was that two more people will die that she did not intend initially intend on killing.
Just thought I would clear that up because I think that the death toll in book 7 is going to be massive! (Arghh!!!!! i'm scared! lol!)

But despite the huge media frenzy over Jo's interview (about her apparently indicating that she will kill harry off....) I REALLY don't think Harry will die. Voldermorts a goner though. Naturally.

Hmm, they said on CNN last night that there were two characters dying. They didn't say anything about two more. They also said there was one that JK was initially going to kill off that she is now going to allow to survive. *shrugs*

Maybe Min will kill Severus for killing Albus...

Yeh, if you watch the actual interview she says:

"JK: The last, the final chapter is hidden away although it's now changed very slightly.

Judy: Is it?

JK: Yeah, one character got a reprieve.

Richard: Oh really?

JK: Yeah.

Judy: I mean you are, I just...

JK: But I have to say two die that I didn’t intend to die.

Judy: Oh no, two much loved ones?

JK: Well you know, a price has to be paid.

Richard: Significant?

JK: We are dealing with pure evil! So they don’t target the extras, do they? They go straight for the main characters... Or I do."

So yeh, she has given one character a reprieve from death, but has killed off two more that she did not initially intend to!

Anyways.. I think that it'll be a Weasley or Hermione, because..

There are so many Weasleys. And Ginny & Ron are both very close to Harry, so.. Perfect bait Voldie can use to lure Harry..

Hermione, because.. Well, she's so smart. And Voldie hates Mudbloods (ish..?) and... She's so smart. iDK.. Just a feeling.. I hope not.. Because.. I ship SS/HG.. And if she dies, and Albus is dead.. Please don't tell me to go ship SSMM.

I read that transcript like 3 times looking for clues. Not one. Not one single one. JK is just trying to be crule. I voted Snape.

Yeah, the media just gets hyped up about stuff. They seem to forget to include the truth in a lot of their stories.

Believe me, I don't see myself EVER EVER EVER telling anyone to go ship SSMM!!

I think one person wil be Ginny...I think that her death will be one that will hurt Harry his whole life. Voldie should be the other one.
I really don't know...this is all very sad to me.

I think it will be Snape. He has a dangerous life with all this double agent stuff. So either he gets killed by Voldemort or by a member of the Order.

I think Snape's gonna die. What probably will happen someone is just gonna come across him in the woods or something and blow him to hell. Hahaha, happy hunting. I hate Snape.

Minerva seems like a likely candidate, though it pains me to say it. She is head of the school, which would be sent spriling into chaos if she was seriously injured or killed. The school also seems to be the safest place for Harry at the moment, and Minerva is the only other truly powerful source that stands between Harry and 'he who must not be named' *shudders*

Yeah, I don't have a real idea of who I think would die. One person is just as likely as the next. So I didn't vote. At the moment, Ginny's the leading candidate to die in my mind. Or maybe both Harry and Voldie will die somehow in the final battle. I don't know.

If Minerva dies, I don't know what I'll do. Probably throw the book down and be really upset. I don't really think she'll die, though. Part of it's because I don't want her to die, and well, killing the head of the school two books in a row is too much.

I think it's a Weasly cuz there are so many of them running around that one of them's bound to die. Not sure which one it is..... Perhaps Mr. Weasly... or one of the twins, though I don't want any of the Weasly's to die. ~mmadlyinlove~
