i know i'm being a pain about it... but i would very much like to see the entries...
is there a way to move them to say... photobucket or something? or a different page?
with everyone constantly trying to look at them... the bandwidth is gonna be shot for a while...
am shutting up now.

Really great banners everyone. I had a very hard time choosing one to vote for. I really wanted to do one, but unfortunately, I have no experience in doing something like that.
In words of one syllable...I do not know how to do it. My hat is off to those of you who do know how. All of you are very talented.

Ah, well, was doing too much work and not enough time for play to enter the contest... but, for those who have not voted, here is a hint on how to pick a good banner...
This site is about Albus and Minerva, equal partners in the world of our dreams. When looking at the banners, decided, Does this show equality for them? can I see the image clearly, and does the type detract from what the visual message is? Are elements just thrown on with out reason or need? does it look simple, does it look complex, can it evoke an emotional response? Clearly several are made by the same person, and some are uniquly different.
Do they show the elements that we write about here? virtue, romance, humor? etc?
and the last test, if you squint your eyes, what can you see and read and if it blurs together, is it in a meaningful pattern?
For me, happily, there was just one choice. I won't say which one it was, and there was one that didn't show, but, by the time I got to it, I had made up my mind.
Id say, one is a clear winner in the polls, why go to the second round?

Okay everyone, I've just locked the poll (one day too late but well, the top-3 hasn't changed anyway ). Though the top-3 is actually a top-4 between entries 12, 5, 3 and 14... so I guess we start the 2nd round with 4 instead of 3 . Also, might I mention that Rikki gets the proverbial prize for originality for including quotes in her banners ;D. Sorry, I have a morbid love for quotes .
