me too. I could watch that movie over and over again. though when I was little I was obsessed with Sister act and the first wives club, so tose two rank up there, and I love Death on the Nile, though that ones more because Angela Lansbury is awsome, but Maggie rocks that one too

I said other, although she's great in everything, because I just loved her in Ladies in Lavender with Judi Dench.

I put other as I really can't choose. I know it sounds stupid but I have never seen TPoMJB (I know it's her most famous film). I loved California suite. Maggie does angsty comedy soooo well and her interaction with Michael Caine is fantastic. My house in Umbria is amazing too and I enjoyed Ladies in Lavender. (You have to see it mmadlyinlove Maggie is awesome, even if some of the other caracters are a bit annoying.) So I just can't decide.

Oh we're all a little bit insane, thats what makes life fun. Oh and you really have to see Ladies in Lavender, it's really beautiful, plus anytime you get to see Maggie and Judi on screen together is woth the cost of the ticket(well rental). When I went to see it in the theatre, I was not only the youngest person there, but I was the youngest by a good thirty or forty years. It was pretty funny

LOL! I've never seen California Suite either, but I want to. I loved all the other movies, though. I think it's so hilarious to watch MS in TPoMJB after seeing her as McGonagall. The two are so completely different... I did love her in Murder By Death as well. She was great in it. I loved that line, "Where's my Dickie?..... I'm sorry, where's my husband?" Hahaha. That was great. That film had a lot of greats in it, too..... Like Peter Falk, Peter Sellers, David Nivan, and Eileen Breannan... I think that's how you spell it. LOL! ~mmadlyinlove~

I chose other. I think she's good in every movie I know but she plays brilliant in The lonely passion of Judith Hearne and also in ladies in lavender

I loved murder by death too.. Maggie had the best lines by far..Keeping Mum was excelent too..a true English black comedy..In fact I have liked everything she has done... In the early ninetys Maggie did a tv play by Allen Bennett called bed among the lentils where she played an alcoholic vicars wife. I thought that was one of her best roles ever. (Maggie the only one on screen for 45 mins..does it get any better?)

I chose My House in Umbria though it's a close call with Jean Brodie. But I just love Umbria. No idea why but I really like her character in that one.

I agree.....it's just too mean to expect us to choose you evil girl...LOL. .. I saw one of Mags lesser known films yesterday. The Missionary with Michael Palin. (one of my favorite actors) Mags was a rich woman unhappily married who seduced him. She went from living in manor houses to being with him in the slums of London's Docklands. She was ,as always excellent (dispite how I've made it sound it is a comedy.)
