Sorry, I didn't know what the prince's name was in Cinderella. In the original version, he didn't have one. Then in two versions it was Christopher Rupert, and then in Ever After it was Henry. So I wasn't sure which one I should use, so I went with the unknown one. LOL! ~mmadlyinlove~

I chose Belle and Beast, and not just because that's my favorite Disney movie or because I identify with Belle! I think Minerva is more like Belle than any other Disney girl...plus Beast is cool.

Yeah, I am so Belle... I would've chosen Belle, because Min is so much like her, but the only reason why I didn't was because I couldn't see Albus being a beast. I was chosing what I thought would be both.... You know? ~mmadlyinlove~

I went with Belle and the Beast because Min is most def Belle, but I also think that the Beast does have some similarities to Albus, more at the end though, after he's fallen for Belle. He's very sweet, but also very protectful. I cna see that in Albus

I think there may be too many to name...but I think it may be safe to skip Snow White, simply because of the "Someday my Prince Will Come" song, the feminist in me can't deal with that one. Its also one of the more boring ones in my opinion

yeah, I've never been crazy about Snow White. I own just about every Disney movie ever made, btw

I always thought Snow White was too sickening sweet. I was almost forced to play her in a fifth grade play, but luckily it was cancelled. My mom adores her, though. I never really thought of "Someday My Prince Will Come" as an anti-feminist song. I mean, I always saw it as a "I will someday find the man of my dreams no matter what that may be". But I can see your point on the matter. ~mmadlyinlove~

well it just seems like a "I'll wait around and do nothing because I know someday my prince will come and we'll be married and have lots of babies" song...I'm much more of a Beauty nd the Beast girl
"I WANT MUCH MORE THAN THIS PROVINCIAL LIFE!!!!!!!!!!!!"
*ahem* anyway, yeah not a big Snow White fan, but I do love the way she looks(as another extreamly pale girl)

LOL. Yeah, I've always been partial to Belle as well... and Jasmine, cuz she's the only ethnic princess I know of. I don't count Mulan cuz she's not really a princess.... LOL! ~mmadlyinlove~

I'm all for Disney movie but it seems to me they all make it out so that girls should just wait around for the perfect prince to come along and then stay home all day and cook and clean. (Mulan ect are exeections but not the point) I mean for god's sake as Helen from the BEST Hallmakr movie ever Back to You and Me "It's the 21st century get with it!" Women do not need to wait around for their Prince to come. we're perfectly cabable of taking care of ourselves and always have been. With the exception of the chrosonmes we don't need men. They've even found a lizard species that's complely gotten rid of males and scientist think men will die out sooner or later because the Y chronosme is shrinking and getting littler and littler. See we don't need men.

alot of them are like that, it's a bit disheartening, but my favorites all seem to involve really independent women wo fall in love, ie Beauty and the Beast, Bedknobs and Broomsticks, Mulan and then the Arsitocats and Fantasia are just weird

Fantasia dosn't even have a prince in it so yha. Arsitocats is one of the few exepctions of the "Prince saving" movies I do truly love. Duchess is a bit naive but she's spoiled and never had to take care of hserlf so she dosn't know any better.

I never watch the Disney sequels if I can help it. I think Beauty and the Beast is great because Belle is very independent and she actually saves the Beast, in more ways than one.

Oh god sequels suck! The Rescuers is maybe the only exception on my book and PD2. I loved that move much much more C/J and I take my vote back Clarisse and Joe deserved to be on that list They're so cute.
