I think I'd like to try either the fire whiskey or the ice whiskey, but if I had to chose one then I would chose Fire Whiskey. ~mmadlyinlove~

I picked pumpkin juice not only for the socks refrence (lol) but because I love pumpkin everything! That and I really don't drink much alcohol in real life so I don't think I would be all over the wizard variety!

I don't drink alcohol either, but I just think Fire Whiskey would be interesting to taste. I don't know why, but it would be an interesting taste, I think. ~mmadlyinlove~

Well, I guess I've always had an aversion for Butterbeer because I don't like butter and just the name in the drink disgusts me.... Which is unfair, I'll admit. I'd probably try it just so I won't be all ick about it, but it still creeps me out a bit. I know there might not be actual butter in it, but still.... ~mmadlyinlove~

I have actually seen recipes for butterbeer on this site somewhere, I think. Anyway they didn't include beer at all. I do enjoy beer though. Shiner Bock (sp?) is my absolute favorite but I love Blue Moon, especially on tap. That slice of orange just does something fabulous! lol I actually don't drink that often, I might have one or two a month if that, so I am rather picky!

I had to say Fire Whiskey. I like normal Whiskey, which scares people sometimes because I'm 100lbs and people tend to assume I should be drinking some girley mixed drink. I don't drink all that much, but when I do I go for it, plus I have a high tolerance for alcohol-it took about two thirds(about four glasses) of a bottle of wine for me to feel anything, and another two glasses to be really tipsy. Go Irish!

I made the butterbeer recipe I found on this site for my nephews birthday party (god I am such a cool aunt lol) it was made from butterscotch syrup with butter melted into it mixed with cream soda. I thought it was disgusting but they loved it. I disagree childminerva real beer is great..except stella artois (known as wifebeater where I live as it sends people mad) My favorite is not sold in the UK only in OZ I think..Carlton Cold mmm.. But the best drink is Magners(or Bulmers if your in Ireland) Irish cider.. Served in a pint glass with loads of ice. ;D ;D ;D How and ever, in the absence of cider as an option I will go for the whiskey.

Even if firewhiskey seems very tasty... I've always thought of butterbeer as a really delicious drink... I love butter (mmm... butterfinger!), and I like beer very much (even if I don't drink beer too much). I imagine butterbeer as a butterfinger-tasted beer (twited... I know) Isabel
(Nice poll btw)

Thanks. I'm kinda glad of this poll myself. Haha. I wish I could get schooled in the UK, if for nothing else for the accents. Haha. I'd certainly listen. Well, I'd have to if they had a really strong accent. Haha. I just have this picture of me going there and my teachers not being able to understand me and me not understanding them. The whole class session would consist of "What?" "What?" "What?" "What?" Haha. And imagine if I had a full on Spanish accent (since I'm half Mexican)? Hahaha. That'd be hilarious. They'd be talking to me, I'd like misunderstand them or not understand them at all, and I'd reply in like Spanish. "Uh... Yo no se!" or "Errr.... Donde esta la biblioteca?" haha. They'd kick me out for talking in Spanish... "I just wanted to know where the library was!!!!!!!!" ~mmadlyinlove~

Yeah, that's odd. LOL! I love Reisens. Those are my fave's! America schools are cool, depending on which one you go to. I mean, if you went to my high school, you'd see all sorts of racial fights, mainly Hispanics against Blacks (or African Americans.... The name's always changing).... ~mmadlyinlove~

Oh I love Reisens too.. We have a sweet here called Worthers Original..which is sort of like a hard toffee. I always imagined Butterbeer to taste like that. mmadlyinlove there was racial fights at my school too. Although I was at school a loooooong time ago..lol . (god nearly 10 years..I feel so old *sniff*) and race wasn't such an issue as it is now..(at least not over here) So I suppose it's worse now.

We never really had racial fights. I just can't imagine that! My high school (it's been a while, I graduated in 2000) is about split evenly between White kids and Black kids. mmadlyinlove, it is always changing but most blacks don't mind the name black, although African American is used more often in the academic world. That isn't always the rule though, my poli sci class this quarter is entitled, Black Politics.
