Ahh, AP US History. That was one of the best classes I have ever taken. The best in terms of the stuff i learned. Best class that i've had is PreCalc. Had all of my friends in that class, and it was so much fun! =)

I know what you mean, I love English classes. I took the senior level English class last year, which was my sophmore year, and British Authors and my writing class. It was amazing. Unfortunately I get the scary English teacher this year...
Psychology? Eee! I really want to take AP Psychology in my senior year. I'll have to do independent study but it will be worth it.

My favourite subject at school was English Extension (awesome teacher, though the assignments were huge) followed by Ancient History (also an awesome teacher.) I've always loved literature and history so those two were just brilliant. Now, at uni I adore Anatomy and Physiology. It's bloody hard, but is so fascinating... I just love how everything inter-relates, with the nerves ennervating that to move this, which pulls that. Fantastic... The only problem is that Veterinary Sciene is basically a full-time job. We're meant to do one hour of study for every hour of contact which (this week) means 48 hours. Normally though, we have over 25 hours of contact so generally anywhere from 54 - 60 hours all up. Then near exam time we average 70 hours. Never let anyone tell you Vet is easy. Timetable for this week (changes every single week - ick) Monday: 9:00 - 12:00 - DD and CA Parasitology 13:00 - 15:00 - S and F Molecular Biology 16:00 - 18:00 - DD and CA Parasitology Tuesday: 9:00 - 12:00 - DD and CA Microbiogy 13:00 - 15:00 - DD and CA - Microbiology 16:00 - 18:00 - DD and CA Parasitology Wednesday: 9:00 - 12:00 - APM and B Pasture Science 13:00 - 16:00 - S and F Molecular Biology Thursday: 13:00 - 15:00 - SPI Intro Friday: 11:00 - 13:00 - DD and CA Microbiology And that is a light week.

Western Civ I-- now I don't know where you are going to college, but I know here everyone groans about it. But hey, it all depends on what kind of History you are interested in (I took WC 3 and LOVED it). We'll, I'll be entering my junior year of college in September as an education major. Here's what my scedule looks like... Monday, Wednesday, Friday: 9-9:50(til 10:50 on wednesday) Childrens Lit (no friday class! ) 11-11:50 Physics (ugh!) 2-2:50 Current Issues in World Affairs Tuesday/Thursday 9:30-10:45-- Language Arts Methods 11-12:15-- Science Methods and add to that softball practices, work and observation hours... bye bye social life....

2nd year at college...fall semester
English - Chaucer (whoot for pilgrims! I'm super-excited about this class b/c the professor is supposed to be amazing) History - Reformation Europe, with a text like "Salvation at Stake: Christian Martyrdom in Early Modern Europe" it has to be good Math - Intermediate (Multi-Variable) Calculus - I don't know what possessed me to think I can do this...I'm certified crazy Biology - Organismal Diversity (I'm putting in, like, 7.5 hours a week in lecture and lab time, plus God knows how much time for independent work and study...but I want to major in Bio and this class is required...i think it will be worth it)
In high school, my fave classes were freshman biology, AP European History, and senior AP English Lit. (British Literature) but so much of that has to do with the teacher you have and the ppl in the class...btw, our freshman bio teacher was one Miss McConnell who we called McGonagall! :-) She was great! Why I want to major in bio...

I'm a senior in high school and I'm doing the IB (International Baccalaureate) program. I'm taking: IB Anthropology HL IB 20th Century World History HL IB World Literature HL (two blocks) IB French 5 HL IB Maths SL IB Chemistry SL Free Block (HL stands for Higher Level- it's similar to taking an Honors level course. SL stands for Standard Level- it's comparable to taking a regular course.)
On a typical day, I have four classes for 80 minutes each. My school has a rotating block schedule. So I have four classes for eighty minutes on Monday and Wednesday, and forty minutes on Friday. On Tuesdays and Thursdays, I have my remaining four classes for 80 minutes each. I have every class on Fridays!

I finally got my schedule today. First day of school and everything:
AP US History Psychology (that's two amazing, practically legendary teachers in a row, score) Human Anatomy & Physiology Honors Chemistry AP Language Gifted/Honors Analysis (basically Precalc)
Class of '09, represent...
Each subject is a 55-minute long class, with lunch in the fourth class (I have the last lunch block! Sucks to be me, but at least it's chemistry [distracting] and a good friend of mine has it with me). Same thing every day all semester long. So school's a drag sometimes...

I took pre-calc one year, and I still don't know what it is. Something that gave me a headache. Lol. Same here. As for AP History, I did not like the class because the teacher was a sexist jerk and spent more time coaching baseball than teaching. Some days we just watched movies such as Shrek. Anyway, I am taking Elementary Statistics (Ugh...) Intro to Career and Technical Ed Literature and Human Values: Race and Gender Intro to African American Studies (Gen ed) Diversity of Schools
