A/N: First of all, THANKS to all who took the time to send us lovely reviews and for continuing to vote. You keep us on our toes with the outcomes! And just so you know…there is a LEMON WARNING at the beginning of this chapter. Please don’t read it if you’re underage. Having said that…Uh Oh…interest seemed to be waning in this chapter. We hope that we’re not boring you with the story. There were 12 votes for option A and 6 votes for option B. Thanks to Kimberly for sending us the following additions to our story: a vanishing bar of soap and the phrase “Does it look like I’m hiding something?”.
This week we’re trying something new. We know that many of you are eagerly awaiting your chance to add something to the story and we’re grateful. So, instead of just two reviewers, we’re asking three of you to help us this week. Griselda, Kandice, and Angelqueen…please send us one object and sentence as soon as possible for inclusion in the upcoming chapter. Now, we gladly invite you to read….
Did You Forget Something?
Albus woke as he felt the warm body which had been curled into his arms slide from the bed. He heard the patter of her feet as she crossed the room and the soft hiss as they left the warm rug and hit the cool stone of the floor. He smiled at the sound and waited until he heard the soft click of the door before he reached out and pulled her pillow to him, breathing in the scent of her shampoo.
Albus stretched and rolled over, his eyes cracking open. Sunlight poured through the sheer curtain on his large window and he realized it was later than he had expected. It was no wonder that Minerva had risen for the day. She needed to check on the potion especially since the move would be taking place on Monday morning.
Sitting up Albus looked to the door she entered through a few minutes previously. With a glint in his eyes, he cast a charm on the door and the sound of the shower rushed through the rest of his rooms. With a grin on his face, Albus decided that perhaps there might be enough time to convince his lioness of the benefits of an early morning romp.
Albus shut the door silently, unnoticed by the witch in the glass enclosure. He leaned against the cool stone of the wall and took in the sight of his lover as she rinsed her long tresses free of soapy bubbles. Her back was to him, giving him a delicious view of her derriere which was swaying in time to a song he could only faintly hear her humming over the rushing water. He stared fascinated as the water streamed off the ends of her hair and slid down her curves until they hit the tile floor below and were swept into the drain.
Albus felt a stirring in his groin and his breath quickened as she reached for the bar of soap. He watched as she started to work the lather she had built up across her forearms and down to her shoulders, each movement in time with the rhythm of her voice. Suddenly she emitted a small curse as the soap she had been holding fell to the floor. Albus’ heart stopped as she bent over to retrieve the slippery bar from the floor in front of her.
His reaction was immediate. His body warmed and his shaft grew achingly hard as her folds were revealed, the water caressing them before slipping to her thighs. The moment was fleeting and she was soon back to her bathing ritual. Albus licked his lips, his mouth dry with a thirst, which would not be satisfied by any beverage. A mischievous smile curved his lips and with a flick of his wrist, the soap that Minerva had so soon recovered disappeared from her hand and reappeared on the blue tile at her feet.
Minerva stomped her foot in frustration as Albus grinned, his eyes darkening as she bent to pick up the pesky bar. Just as she reached it, he mouthed the incantation to cause it to vanish and reappear in the far corner of the stall. Minerva, forced to change positions to retrieve the object of her scrutiny, spread her legs ever so slightly, causing Albus to gulp audibly. He was so caught up in the view he was afforded that he missed the glimpse she caught of him and the sparkle that had entered her eyes.
The spell ended as she finally grabbed the slippery item and Albus watched as Minerva began to wash her body, the soap making small circles across her torso. He could just make out the silky skin of the side of the breast she was laboring over. Her hums turned to a small groan and his pulse jumped. He strained to make out her movements as her head fell back, her dark hair dancing lower, teasing the curve of her cheeks.
Her arm lowered and Albus’ breath caught in his chest, a surge of heat searing in intensity caused him to moan. Heedless of her reaction, he moved to get a better view and noticed her eyes were closed, her bottom lip captured by her teeth in concentration. Her hand swept past her wet curls and his hand reached out and grasped his aching length as her fingers dipped into her cleft.
His breathing became labored as she teased herself, his need elevating until his body was tingling. Her small cries of pleasure were like physical blows causing surges of heat to race across his sensitized skin. He was so intent on her ministrations that when his name fell from her lips, he started in surprise.
Her eyes were focused on him, her pupils dilated with lust, barely a sliver of green visible. She called his name again, a drawn out purr filled with desire. “Albus, are you coming?”
His body reacted before his mind had wrapped entirely around her words. He strode across the magically warmed floor, the door to the shower opening for him in the charged air, as if it didn’t dare stand in his way. She beckoned him with her eyes and his body collided with hers, his hand grasping the back of her head, forcibly tilting it back as his lips descended upon hers, almost bruising in its demand.
Minerva responded without hesitation. Her body called to his, craved his touch. The fire she had banked in herself as her fingers had delved into her folds, carefully stroking and rubbing, roared to life as his tongue ravished her mouth. His hardened shaft pressed against her belly, testament to her charms and control over his desires.
She wanted more, needed more and she grasped his tongue as it darted across her own, sucking it firmly. His body arched against hers pushing her against the cool glass. Her nails raked down his back until they met the rounded skin of his ass. Grasping him tightly, she pulled him closer, her body tingling, every nerve ending screaming for release.
Minerva’s hips bucked reflexively when Albus’ fingers found her moist cleft. His fingers delving in, stroking in rhythm to his tongue, which was flicking against a hardened nipple.
“Gods.” Her breath came out in gasps, her body trembling. “Albus…I need you…now.”
It was a demand and Albus spun her around, pulling her hips into his. She leaned over just slightly granting him access. He pulled back, positioning himself so that the tip of his head just grazed her glistening folds. She wriggled against him.
“Tell me what you want Minerva.”
Her body jerked at the sound of his lust filled voice. “Albus… I want you. I need you.”
His body ached to take her, to make them one. “You need me? What do you need me to do?”
Her voice grew husky, her fingers splayed across the glass in front of them scraping the smooth surface in her need. “I want you inside me. I want you to feel you.”
Albus groaned as he pushed into her in one swift motion. He paused, attempting to bring himself back from the edge before he fell over. She squirmed, pushing against him, needing more. Albus could hold back no longer and he pounded into her. Again and again he entered her, their bodies slapping together, his fingers digging into the soft flesh of her hips.
“Oh Gods, yes…Alllbussss.”
Minerva’s cries turned into screams as his fingers found her hard nub and started to stroke, pushing her into oblivion. Her body spasmed, her knees nearly buckling. As her tight warmth clenched around him, milking him, Albus’ body reached its own peak, her name falling from his lips.
Once spent, they tumbled to the floor in each other’s arms, their hearts beating together in an erratic fashion. “Good morning.”
Albus chuckled into her hair, which was splayed across his body. “Good morning, my lioness.”

Minerva sighed contentedly and snuggled further into her lover’s arms. She closed her eyes and listened to the beat of his heart, her mind clearing of everything else. All to soon however, her discomfort on the tile brought her out of her impromptu meditation. “As much as I would love to stay here with you, I do need to attend to our potion.”
A growl of disappoint followed her statement as Albus helped her to her feet. “I hope the promise of a delicious breakfast will speed your return.”
“Hmmm, I think that can definitely be arranged. Now, since you so nicely interrupted my bathing perhaps you will also be so kind as to soap my back before I head on my way.” Minerva looked around, her eyes scanning the interior of the shower. “Now where in Merlin’s name did the soap go?”
Albus felt her gaze upon him. He ducked his head sheepishly but this time it was no fault of his own that the bar was missing. “Does it look like I'm hiding something?”
Minerva’s narrowed eyes swept over Albus’ form, noting his very naked and appealing state. “I suppose not.”
A few more seconds of looking found that the rouge bar had slipped outside of the cracked shower door and was hiding next to a pile of fluffy towels. Albus reached out and grabbed it while they both laughed before he set to the business at hand. And while he wasn’t known for being a detailed man, he couldn’t help as his hand strayed to make sure every inch of his love was cleaned rather thoroughly.
Minerva found herself walking along the corridor much later than she had anticipated, although she was by no means complaining. She barely acknowledged the inhabitants of the portraits who called greetings to her. She was so intent on her thoughts that she was unaware of the person coming toward her until her shoulder struck a hard surface and scrolls went flying in the air.
“I am so sor…” Minerva’s voice froze on her lips as she looked up to see the short and balding Headmaster of Hogwarts. “Headmaster Dippet.”
His friendly brown eyes met hers and he chuckled. “I suppose I should have watched where I was headed. I am so sorry to have run into you. I hope you are unhurt.”
Minerva’s eyes were wide. “I am fine. But truly I should apolo…”
“Nonsense. But I would very much appreciate some help picking up all this parchment. I was just headed toward the owlery and was sidetracked by a request from a portrait.”
Minerva and Armando bent down and gathered the items, which had scattered across the hall. Minerva was mortified that she had been so careless. It seemed that whenever Armando was around, she was making a fool of herself. And not being a clumsy person by nature, Minerva was even more embarrassed by her gracelessness. After all, it was not a good habit to display if she wished to teach at Hogwarts in the future.
“I had hoped to run into you today, although this is not exactly what I had in mind.” Armando had risen and was putting the scrolls back into some order as Minerva picked the last one up off the floor.
“I am so sorry, sir…” Minerva tried to stutter another apology but was cut short by Armando’s friendly voice.
“There is no need to apologize, no need at all. I was just as much as fault if not more so.”
His smile was genuine and Minerva found herself relaxing. She handed over the notes she had picked up off the ground and waited for Armando to speak his mind.
“I just wanted to apologize to you for not approving the request for rooms that Albus put through with me. I wish that I could have granted it but circumstances being what they are, well I wouldn’t want any malicious gossip to start and I am afraid the Board of Governors are not very open-minded to this sort of thing.”
By the look on Minerva’s face, Armando could easily tell she had no idea to what he was referring. “Rooms? Yes, well, you can’t blame Albus for trying. All he could do was ask,” she said uneasily, trying to hide her confusion.
“It would seem that I have ruined what was supposed to be a surprise for you, Minerva. I apologize for assuming you already knew. Dear me, I seem to be making more of a mess with each additional sentence. But, it’s not like Albus to keep secrets so I had no way of knowing he hadn’t already discussed this with you.”
“Please, think nothing of it. I’m sure he had his reasons and I’ll be sure to ask him about them when I see him next. Right now, I must be on my way. I need to check on the potion we’re brewing in our research rooms. If you’ll excuse me…” Minerva’s cool demeanor and her stiff back did not bode well for Albus. Armando could tell that she was not amused in the least and no doubt his friend would pay dearly for his oversight.
“Minerva,” he called after her, “be easy on Albus when you speak with him. I’m sure he only meant well.”
“I’ll try to remember that. Thank you for your concern,” she bit back before thinking.
All the way to the meditation room, Minerva fumed and mumbled to herself.
How dare he go behind my back and request living arrangements here at Hogwarts when I have a perfectly comfortable apartment of my own! Does he honestly think I need someone to look after me? Or maybe it’s that he doesn’t trust me for some reason, though I can’t honestly imagine what would have given him that idea. The nerve of him to make such an important decision without even consulting me or thinking of how I might feel on the matter of where I chose to live!
Minerva was so lost in her musings, she practically yelled the password at the portrait and then slammed the door behind her. The air around her was crackling with magical electricity and the slightest change in the atmosphere of the room could seriously damage the potion, turning it lethal if too many variables were changed. It wasn’t until a nearby vase shattered, spilling the beautiful wildflowers from Albus to the floor, that Minerva realized just how angry she had become over one oversight on his part. Feeling it best not to enter the potion room just yet, she threw open the curtains and sat down rather briskly on the mat and began her meditation rituals.
Deeper and deeper, Minerva delved into her thoughts on the matter at hand. Despite all her efforts, she couldn’t fight her anger at having him going behind her back and attempting to change her lifestyle on a whim without so much as a mention to her about his idea. That was what hurt the most. She would never have presumed to try and change any of his habits so why would he take it upon himself to speak with Armando?
Minerva looked at the clock and noted the time. She had promised to return to Albus’ rooms for breakfast as soon as she could tear herself away from the potion. But she was in no mood to speak to him until her thoughts and feelings were dealt with and organized into coherent forms. Using her deep breathing techniques, she calmed herself enough to take a quick survey of the potion before changing into her animagus form and slipping from the restrictive walls of the castle.
During her years as a student, Minerva had grown to love one particular spot on the opposite side of the lake. There was a thicket of bushes and trees near the waters’ edge and just beyond that was a little meadow. Birds and butterflies seemed to always be there and it was the most peaceful place Minerva had ever found, aside from the countryside surrounding her family home. Some of her best essays and most serious thoughts were conceived there so it was the first place she thought of as her paws carried her into the brisk October air.
The leaves on the trees were beginning to turn colors, except for the few evergreens, which never changed, and most of the wildflowers in the meadow had all but died, creating an almost barren look to the field. Minerva sighed with a heavy heart as she transformed back to herself and sat upon the ground with her knees pulled up to her chest. She was desperately trying to focus once more on what had happened earlier with Armando from an objective point of view instead of confronting Albus in a fit of anger.
She knew she loved Albus. That was never in question. She had never found someone who made her feel so wonderful and so alive as he did. He intrigued her and the more she learned about him, the more she wanted to know. One smile from him could melt her heart and make her agree to even his most preposterous idea but he was not one to abuse that privilege. He was always open to discussions and debate, even if he had no chance of winning the argument against her. So, why all of a sudden did he feel he could make decisions for both of them without even consulting her on any of the details?

Minerva picked up a leaf and began to twirl it absently in her fingers as her thoughts strayed to the mornings’ events. She had been so happy and content to wake in his arms only to be ravished so lovingly only a few short moments after waking. He excited her in ways, mentally, emotionally and certainly physically. It would be wonderful to experience that kind of happiness each and every morning but he hadn’t even asked if she could move in with him at Hogwarts. He had simply asked Armando to grant her rooms, presumably so she could be near him and perhaps the potion as well. It was confusing in a way and yet the more she thought on it, the more she began to try and understand his motives.
Part of her was flattered that he wanted her to have a residence at Hogwarts, so nearby, which would allow them to spend even more time together, both night and day. Albus could drop by her rooms or the meditation room between classes. Quiet meals together would not require the use of the floo network or even a quick apparition. Lazy weekend days would not necessitate overnight bags or even special arrangements since they would both be merely steps away from all of their personal belongings.
With Albus’ teaching schedule, she knew he needed to be at the school most nights to work on his mountain of essays or other official duties. But, instead, he chose to spend as much free time as possible at her home, just so he could be near her. Over the course of their developing relationship, she had noted how many late nights he was keeping. All too often, he would drop by her apartment and stay until the wee hours of the morning, only to return to the school to work on lesson plans or grading papers, which only left a minimal amount of time for sleep. He made up for it on the weekends, though, but he couldn’t go on like that indefinitely. It was bound to become a problem sooner or later.
A cool breeze blew about her and Minerva realized she was chilled almost to the bone. She had not intended to wander around outside when she left the warmth of the shower and Albus’ arms. In fact, her sole purpose in leaving was to check on the potion and then return as quickly as possible to Albus and no doubt his amazing culinary talents. A smile graced her lips as she remembered the first breakfast he had prepared for her. It had been so romantic but he had been forced to leave before sharing it with her because of his duties at the school.
Her mind flooded with so many thoughts of times when they had wanted to stay together longer but because of Hogwarts, their wants were outweighed by duty. It was then that Minerva realized something crucial in understanding her own feelings. She wasn’t angry that Albus wanted her to live at the castle or even that he had approached Armando without talking to her first. She was actually a bit nervous about giving up her freedom and her independence to start building a life with him. He was, in a round about way, attempting to take the next step in their relationship. If they had been in the real world away from Hogwarts and living just as merely a witch and wizard, this would have been the moment when they moved in together.
Fears and joys crashed inside her heart and mind. She had been so angered by Armando’s abrupt comments and the brash way she learned of Albus’ intentions, she had never fully considered his reasons for even approaching the Headmaster with his request. It must have taken a great deal of thought, planning, and courage to make such a request given the circumstances. And while she was no longer angry with Albus, she desperately needed to talk to him, maybe even to let him squirm a little before sharing her own thoughts on the matter.
Albus was pacing back and forth in front of the stone hearth in his sitting room. Minerva was only supposed to be gone for half an hour at the most. It was now approaching the hour and a half mark and she was nowhere to be found. Breakfast was now cold and ruined but that was the least of his worries. When Minerva failed to return, he went to the research rooms and found nothing. He could tell that she had been there earlier but it was as if she had vanished. At first, he thought he had misunderstood her intentions so he flooed her home, hoping to find her there, but was sorely disappointed.
Not wanting to read too much into her tardiness or her having left without any word to him, he returned to his rooms to wait rather impatiently. Serious thoughts ran through his mind of what might have happened to her. He could think of nothing he had done to offend her this particular morning. In fact, he was certain she had enjoyed their lovemaking as much as he. Their rough coupling in the shower had left both of them wanting more and unless he had completely misread her eyes, touches, and body language she had planned to return and take care of her needs as well as his.
Before Minerva ever touched the door, Albus sensed her presence nearby. As she opened the door, he swept her into his arms and hugged her tightly, planting quick kisses all along her neck. “I’m glad your back,” he mumbled into her hair. “I was worried when you didn’t show up for breakfast and I was concerned that maybe you were upset with what happened this morning.”
Minerva pushed back from him and cupped his face in her hands, drawing him to her for a rather passionate kiss. Pressing herself against him, she managed to move away from the door, kicking it shut behind her as the kiss deepened. When they finally broke apart, she rested her forehead against his and sighed. “I can’t begin to tell you how much I enjoyed our escapades this morning and I’d very much like a repeat performance. But I will admit that something has happened.”
Albus felt his heart leap into his throat. From the sound of her voice and the missed date, he could tell it was serious. Taking her hand, he led her over to the sofa. “Minerva, your hands are like ice!”
“I was outside this morning and I didn’t take my outer robes,” she shivered. Without a second thought, Albus summoned a blanket from the bed and pulled her into his arms, wrapping them both in the blanket. He stoked the fire with a wave of his wand and pressed a soft kiss to her temple. Minerva snuggled into his warmth and felt all of her previous worries slipping away, though her mind desperately tried to hang on to her earlier musings. “Albus, would you ever go behind my back and do something if you thought it would upset me?”
Her direct question made him nervous and uncomfortable almost immediately. “No. I would never intentionally do something to upset you, love. You should know that. I might try to surprise you or something along those lines, but no sinister motives are involved in lavishing the woman I love with little surprises. But I must ask…why the question in the first place?”
“So if you did do something without speaking to me first, you’re saying your intentions would be pure and you only had my best interests at heart?” He nodded his head emphatically. “One more question, then. Why in the name of Merlin did I learn from Armando that you had approached him about granting me permanent rooms at Hogwarts?” she asked rather sternly.
Albus felt her stiffen in his arms as she retold how she had bumped into Armando in the hallway and he had offered his sincerest apologies regarding his decision on the room request. He listened as she told of her immediate anger and hurt, only to be followed by her outside adventure in her favorite thinking place.
“Minerva, I swear to you I never meant to go behind your back. Nor did I attempt to undermine your freedom, independence, or ability to make decisions for yourself.” He turned her to face him, his hands gripping her upper arms loosely. “I didn’t want to get your hopes up in case he turned me down and when he did, I decided not to mention it so you wouldn’t be disappointed or hurt by his decision.”
“But you never even asked if moving into Hogwarts was something I’d be interested in doing! You assumed I’d be glad to uproot my life and routine. You took the decision from my hands and proceeded to discuss my personal affairs with Headmaster Dippet. Albus, that hurt my feelings and I never expected that from you.”
Albus’ eyes grew sad and the twinkle disappeared. The last thing he wanted to do was upset Minerva or to harm her in any way. She had been honest and forthright with him so now it was his turn to do the same.
“I’ll admit my tactics were not the best but my heart was in the right place. You see, I love you so much and it pains me to be away from you any more than I have to be. I love the feel of your warm body pressed against mine as I drift off to sleep and the way you curl into me in the mornings. Just knowing you’re nearby gives me a peaceful feeling and I find that I don’t worry nearly as much when you’re close.”
“But…” Albus held up his hand to cease her reply and took a deep breath.
“Do you know how hard it is to go to your apartment and then leave you all alone at night? I worry about you constantly. It’s not because I think you are incapable of taking care of yourself. It’s because I love you with all my heart. I would worry about you even if you were here in the castle, though not to the same degree. I asked Armando about the rooms because I fully intended to discuss this with you once we had his approval. If he had granted it, then the choice would have been yours as to whether or not you made a change in your living arrangements, and I would have abided by whatever decision you reached. Though I will not lie. My feelings would have been hurt if you had declined the offer.”

Minerva had her earlier thoughts confirmed and it caused a smile to break upon her face. Her now warmed hand came up and cupped his cheek, her thumb brushing across his lips softly. “I love you, Albus, so much so that at times it scares me. When Armando told me of the rooms, I was more scared than angered once I had a chance to really think on it. I was scared because I’ve never felt this way about anyone before. You are like an intoxicating and addicting presence in my life. The more I am near you, the more I need to be near you and I don’t ever want that to change. I know you’re making great sacrifices to spend as much time with me as possible, sweetheart, and I love you all the more for it.” She placed a quick peck to his soft and yielding lips.
“I’m sorry if I upset you, my dear. I promise never to do something so rashly and shocking before speaking with you again. I’ve learned a valuable lesson today. But I’m glad we were able to work through this…together. I believe that says a great deal about our love and how strong it has grown.”
“Albus Dumbledore, don’t you dare think you’re never supposed to surprise me again! I adore surprises and this morning was one of the best. In fact, I wouldn’t mind being taking like that more often. I love the romance and passion but sometimes a woman just likes to be reminded of how desirable and irresistible she really is to the man who lights her inner fires.”
“Hmm, duly noted and something I will most assuredly take under advisement for our future. I must admit, the sight of you in the shower this morning was one I never want to forget. Something came over me and I knew I had to have you, right then. Of course if you had said no…”
She placed a finger across his lips and leaned in to tease his ear with her teeth and tongue. “Have I ever said no to you my strong lion?” she practically purred into his ear before nibbling on the lobe.
He swallowed hard and closed his eyes, drinking in the feel, the scent, the warmth and the sound of her. “No,” he struggled to answer.
Minerva’s hands slowly began to unfasten the buttons on his shirt as she pushed him down on the sofa. “And what makes you think I’d start now, just when I’ve realized I can’t live without you in my life?”
Albus never got a chance to properly answer. The blanket was quickly banished to the floor, along with several articles of clothing as she worked steadily to rid him of any barriers between them. It would be quite some time before any coherent thoughts were uttered in the room. The only words spoken were ones of love, longing and passion as the two expressed their sincerest feelings and apologies in an afternoon of incredible lovemaking. As they snuggled on the blanket in front of the fire later, they laughed at how much fun arguments could be if the end result was so powerfully rewarding.
Options for this week are:
A. Albus pays Nicholas a visit to discuss plans for Christmas and to update his friend on his relationship with Minerva. B. Minerva and her mother enjoy their annual outing as mother/daughter, prompting some in depth questions from her mother regarding Albus.
Voting for this chapter will end on August 30.

Ladies,
I don't think you have a worry about waning interest in this story, especially after a lemon like that one!!! WOW!
I like option B I think. I want to know what Minerva thinks. Especially what she is going to tell her mother about the level of their relationship.

Awesome chapter! Just the right thing to read on a Friday evening after two short but hectic days at school ;D As for the choice...difficult this week, but I take A!

I've been told that option A appeals to me.

I can't believe it! I think I didn't vote for the last chapter... not that I am in any way disappointed with the results because they were fantastic! What a steamy lemon!
This time I vote for.... B!

Ah Lemons! great way to start or end any day
I love the way you've developed their relationship slowly but surely. And the fact that Min didn't just storm into Albus' rooms and start hexing him, but went to think about what this request for rooms at hogwarts meant in terms of their relationship.
Now as much as i would love to see B, i think it would be good to see some other characters for a bit (whatever happened to Maggie and Stephen?!) so i vote A Lets see what Nicolas has to say to Albus about life and marriage *g*

Okay I have been in California for two weeks and my computer was down for what seems forever and reading all this seems like it's going to take forever. And I only get one hour a day on the computer AND I have to walk to the library to use that One hour of internet. *sigh* I'm never going to finish this ahhahah But it looks so good. Lady Jolly

Do I still need to say that I love this story? ;D It's simply wonderful. It was really difficult to choose, but I'll vote B this time.
