I just hopped over here after noticing a click-through to my blog from this page, and I hadn't remembered what was in it -- and I saw that the image was no longer available. I must have changed the name at some point & not changed the url here. So I've replaced it with the working URL, and the little "bonnet scene" is back again! :-)

I don't know I could only imagine Minerva coming back with a smart alec comment. Something along the lines of "Well the last time you bought something this hideous for me to wear, I tried to hide it in the back of the closet and you pouted because I wouldn't wear it. You know that I can't stand it when you play the guilt trip card. So I am wearing the Damn hat and I don't want to hear another word."

i always thought it must be cause she's a witch its supposed to look like a witches night cap bonnet thing is what i thought.
course the idea Albus gave it to her is brilliant.

harmonydumbledore: yeah, I understand the thing about the witch's nightcap bonnet, I thought about something like that but... it still scarred me for life!!! I love bonnets (my mom has been making me scarves and bonnets for my birthdays for a a few years now and they're awesome)... but that THING is awful!!! (yes, really, how could thay make her wear it??? ) But actually, even though it's scary, it's actually downright funny!!! especially with the note you added, MMADfan^^ I loved it ;D

COurse over the years Maggie has worn very interesting costumes. And being that she gets a say in her Minerva costume perhaps the bonnet was her idea? However perhaps after the first two movies she realized it looked a little odd cause ya'll realize for 3 through 8 if we saw her in night clothes her hair was down. Which I ADORED seeing Minerva in teh loose curls and braids in later movies. I perfered to see her hair as if she woke up and neve rhad tome to eve put on a cap or anything. Maggie and Minerva are adoreable with messy hair!
