well... it depends what sort of day i'm havin', if say I had already been threatinin' to turn some poor sod into somethin green n' squelchin' I'd want parts I can go back to. So's I can vent my anger or... whats that word that starts with rrr?.... Wrath. yeah.

It honestly depends on what I'm feeling on the day. Some fics I just have to try and read in one hit, even if they are ludicriously long. I tend to save them as a word doc so I can read them late at night in bed without being on the net. Others, if I'm not overly impressed but still think they're good enough to finish, I read in chapters.

For me, it depends. If I have the time, I would read all at one go. But most of the time, I try to find fics that are compiled together already. If not, I would just read it chapter by chapter.
