Well...don't know where to start...I would like to apologize to everyone for such a long break in my story...The reason for such a long break was my little sister's serious illness
...Now when she's finally starting to get better I decided to get back to this story...I hope you will still like it. Please leave a review, they make my day and are a great motivation!
Hugs for you all!

The silence in the room was unbearable.
‘’Hello” Rosie was the first one to speak surprised to see a strange woman in the living room “Who are you?” she asked curiously coming closer towards her mother.
“Rosie” Minerva said softly patting her daughter on the head “this is my best friend Poppy” Rosie looked at the woman closely while hugging her mother’s legs tightly.
“This is auntie Poppy!” exclaimed Brian happily and ran towards Poppy hugging her legs. She seemed to be rooted to the spot and unable to speak. After a minute or two she reacted by patting Brian’s back. “Hello Rosie. It’s nice to meet you” she said and smiled softly at the little girl. Rosie smiled back and came closer extending her hand. Poppy shook her little hand and laughed softly.
“I like your hair” Rosie said pointing to Poppy’s long blond hair.
“Why thank you, Rosie. You’ve got beautiful hair as well” Poppy said running her hand through Rosie’s flowing black locks.
“They are just like mommy’s. Mrs. Thomas says I look just like mommy, except my eyes” Rosie said happily smiling widely.
“Well actually…I knew your mom when she was your age and I can definitely agree that you look just like your mother” Poppy said smilingly.
“You knew mommy when she was 4?” Rosie asked disbelievingly
“Yes, sweetie. My mommy was your mommy’s mom’s best friend so we have known each other since we were both little girls.” Poppy assured Rosie and looked briefly at Minerva, who was smiling.
“Will you tell us some stories from your childhood, auntie Poppy?” Rosie asked excitedly pulling her towards the couch. Brain nodded happily and jumped on the couch.
“Children!” Minerva called softly “Auntie Poppy has just got here. She needs to rest a bit and have some tea. Besides both of you need to have some breakfast first”
“But mommy…” Rosie started saying with her lower lip trembling
“Stop whining Rosie” Minerva shook her head disapprovingly “Run along to the kitchen, please.”
Brain stood up quickly and not uttering a word ran to the kitchen. Rosie on the other hand stood up slowly and with tears shining in her eyes walked slowly towards the kitchen. Minerva caught her by her tummy and hugged her from behind.
“Don’t be sad, sweetie. I promise we will both tell you lots of stories later, ok?” Minerva said kissing her daughter on her strawberry smelling hair and tickled her delicately.
“Ok, mommy.” Rosie laughed out loud and ran to the kitchen.
“Minerva…” Poppy said when the door to the kitchen closed. “Will you be so kind as to explain why I haven’t known about your children until now? and does Albus know about them?” she was speaking fast all the time looking at Minerva, who was now sitting on a chair in front of her.
“Poppy” Minerva interrupted her friend “I know we have a lot to catch up. It’s been long four years and I’m sure you’re eager to hear all of it, but let me just make some breakfast for the children…By the way how did you know they are Albus’ children?”
“Oh Minerva” Poppy smiled “one look at their eyes and I knew immediately” she said with amusement in her voice.
“Oh Poppy! I missed you so much!” Minerva exclaimed suddenly and hugged her long time friend.
“Go fed your children and then we will talk” Poppy said hugging her friend back.
Minerva smiled with tears in her eyes and went to the kitchen. Upon entering she saw her two miracles sitting at the table waiting patiently. Looking at them sitting like this she couldn’t stop wondering what she did to deserve such wonderful children. She smiled at them and they smiled back.
“Who wants some sausages?” Minerva exclaimed happily while taking out various ingredients to make breakfast.
“Me!!” Brian shouted excitedly waving his hands in front of him to emphasize his desire to eat a sausage.
“May I have some eggs, mommy?” Rosie asked politely.
“Of course darling. One sausage and one egg on the way” Minerva made their breakfast quickly and put it in front of them. “Will you eat your breakfast nicely so I can go talk to auntie Poppy?”
“Yes mommy” they chorused in unison.
Minerva smiled and walked back to the living room. Poppy was walking around the room looking at various photos hanging in the room. They were many photos of Rosie and Brian at different stages of their lives.
“Would you like some more tea?” Minerva asked making Poppy jump.
“Minerva! You scared me! I didn’t hear you coming in” Poppy exclaimed putting her hand on her chest.
“I’m sorry” Minerva smiled “Children are eating and I thought we could catch up a bit until they rush in here demanding you tell them stories”
“Of course. As for the tea, thank you for now” she sat back on the couch and looked at Minerva expectedly.
“I don’t even know where to start…” Minerva said looking at Poppy with confusion in her emerald eyes.
“How about you start at the begging?” Poppy said and smiled reassuringly.
Minerva smiled and started talking. She told Poppy everything, from Sandra’s blackmailing to meeting Albus in Diagon Alley. Poppy was listening to the whole story wide-eyed, asking some questions from time to time. When Minerva finished the story she had tears forming in her eyes.
“Oh Minerva!” Poppy exclaimed “I’m so sorry you had to go through all of this alone!” she hugged Minerva again.
“It’s ok, Poppy. I admit it was pretty difficult at the begging, but then I had Mrs. Thomson and then my children came along and I wasn’t that lonely anymore.”
“So the question now is, what do you intend to do about Albus?” Poppy asked, but before Minerva could answer the door to the kitchen opened vigorously and two children ran into the room.
“Auntie Poppy, auntie Poppy!” Rosie and Brian called together
“We ate our breakfast so we are ready to hear your stories!” Rosie said excitedly sitting down next to Poppy while Brian sat on his mother’s lap, who was sitting on Poppy’s other side.
“Are you, now? I’m happy to hear you ate your breakfast nicely” Poppy laughed softly “What stories would you like to hear?”
“About you and mommy when you were little girls like me!” Rosie said happily and clasped her hands with excitement.
“Ok then” Poppy said and started telling them all kind of stories form hers and Minerva’s childhood. Minerva listened carefully remembering her happy childhood, suddenly missing her parents. She looked at her children, who seemed to be hanging on every word Poppy said, and smiled. She hoped they had a happy childhood like she did. Suddenly her thoughts drifted towards Albus, she was wondering what he was doing at the moment and whether he was thinking about her right now.
“I’ll be right back” Minerva said suddenly interrupting Poppy’s story about their summer in Greece. Poppy stopped talking and looked at Minerva with a questioning look. “I just need to write something” Minerva reassured her friend hoping she will guess what she needed to write. She left living room and hurriedly went to her room. She took some paper and a quill pen and started writing…
