Is Maggie pointing at something in the book or is she touching the man's thigh? If it's the latter, BAD MAGGIE If it's the former than......... *shrugs shoulders*

Michael Palin plays a chiropodist in the film, hence the foot.

aww!!! awesome!!! it hasn't very much to don with this, but I made one of my friends watch "Murder by Death" and she said that Maggie was beautiful back then... I will let you imagineher head when I told her: "Yep! And she was in her forties at the time... " she replied: "waw!! I can imagine how she was when in her twenties!!" mwahahahaha... ;D And she admitted Maggie was a good actress, though she herself isn't a fan... *wonder if it was because the poor girl was afraid of me *

Jeez, I kinda was wondering about the foot. And minnie313, I actually showed a film to two of my friends, "The Secret Garden" and they thought she was in her late 30's/early 40's! Imagine their shock and awe.
But I've yet to convert them so............... damn!

The first time I looked at this picture I thought so too, and it reminded me of a picture of Maggie playing Hedda Gabler. But it might as well be a black fan.
