Plot Bunny from misunderstood
Albus sat in his office, munching happily on a new found candy. It was quite delicious and it would do well for a change in his password. He set it and then sent out a note to all of his staff informing them of the change. He took more of the candy, which were Hershey’s Kisses, and continued to eat them.
~*~
The note had arrived some time ago, but Minerva had not had the chance to take a look at it until now. It was from Albus and instantly Minerva smiled as she thought of her wonderful husband.
‘Staff, I took it upon myself to change the password to my office once more. The new password is “Hershey’s Kisses”
Albus’
Minerva’s smiled turned into a frown as tears came unbidden to her eyes.
“Who the hell is Hershey and why the hell is Albus kissing her?”
Minerva stood abruptly and began to pace.
“How could he be cheating on me? We’ve been together at all times during the night unless he was called away on Ministry. . . . That ass! He’s been sneaking off to this Hershey woman and he’s been telling me it’s the Ministry.”
She shook with fury and took a few papers and ripped them. Tears fell down her cheeks, sparkling in the light. She sat down at her desk, sobs shaking her frame. Her hands rested in her lap. She spotted her engagement and wedding rings and took them off. She took a piece of parchment and a quill and hastily scribbled a note.
She then rolled it up and put her rings around it and sent it off to Albus. She walked to the coat rack and took her cloak and put it on. She needed a long walk.

Albus continued to eat the Kisses as he worked. He smiled when a bit of parchment came his way but frowned when he saw Minerva’s rings around it. He took them off and unrolled the parchment.
‘How could you? After all we’ve had and all we’ve been through. I hope you’re happy.’
Albus sat at his desk thoroughly confused. He put down the note and picked up Minerva’s rings. He fingered them gently before putting them securely in his pocket. He stood and left his office, walking to Minerva’s.
Upon arriving, she was nowhere to be found. He walked to her desk, his note on the password change on the top of everything. He noticed tear stains on it as well as the other papers. His wife was upset and he had to find her. He looked to the coat rack, finding her cloak gone. He took off outside.

Minerva had made her way down to the lake. She sat down behind a large rock, letting her sadness consume her. She cried for herself and for Albus.
~*~
Albus made his way outside and down to the lake, knowing Minerva usually went there to think. He slowed his pace, not seeing her. But then, he heard her sobs. He ran to the large rock and found her sitting behind it.
“Minerva!”
She looked up in surprise and then anger.
“What do you want?”
“I want to know what you mean by that note you sent me.”
“Don’t play dumb, Albus.”
“Darling--”
“Don’t you darling me. How could you, Albus, and announcing it like that?”
“Minerva, I don’t know what you’re talking about. Please explain.”
Minerva stood, completely upset at how daft he was being.
“How long, Albus? How long have you been seeing her?”
“Minerva, what are you talking about? Seeing who?”
“This Hershey woman, you so proudly put in your password.”
Albus stared at her in shock for quite some time before bursting out laughing. Minerva turned to him, glaring at his complete lack of care.
“Quit your laughing you bastard. I don’t find your cheating on me with this Hershey woman to be very amusing. I thought we had something, Albus.”
“Min--”
He laughed some more before wiping his face of tears.
“Minerva, please, just sit down here and listen to me.”
He still chuckled a bit and Minerva was not sure she wanted to listen, but she sat any ways.
“Minerva, I’m not cheating on you. And before you interrupt, like I know you will, let me explain.”
Minerva closed her mouth and sat quietly.
“Minerva, Hershey, is a brand of candy. A muggle brand, and the kisses are a type of chocolate, which look like larger chocolate chips. I was eating some today when I decided to change my password to them. I can assure you, darling, that I am so deeply in love with you that I could not imagine being with another woman.”
Minerva’s face had reddened considerably from Albus’ explanation.
“Albus, I. . . .”
“Come here, Minerva.”
He held out his arms and she immediately crawled into them.
“I’m so sorry. I just thought. . .it sounded like you were. . .the possessive sound of it. I’m sorry.”
He smiled down at her.
“I think you’ll be wanting these back then.”
He pulled out her rings and slipped them back on her finger. He then placed a kiss to her lips, which she immediately deepened. Albus pulled back, slightly out of breath.
“I am sorry, Albus.”
“Not to worry, dear. Let’s get back inside.”
He pulled her up and they made their way back inside to Albus’ office.
“Hershey’s Kisses.”
Minerva frowned.
“Albus, would you mind changing the password. I really can’t bear to think about what almost could have happened.”
“Of course, and you can help think of one.”
“How about ‘Barmy Old Codger’ or ‘Blasted Old Coot’?”
“Ah, Minerva you wound me.”
He led her to his desk, sitting down and pulling her with him. He picked up a Kiss and popped it in his mouth.
“Was that one of them?”
“Yes, my dear, would you like one?”
“I suppose.”
She took one and ate it as well. She enjoyed it immensely, placing a kiss to Albus’ lips.
“Mmm, they taste even better on you. Maybe I should change my password to ‘Minerva’s Kisses’?”
“Hmm, maybe, unless you want to be answering questions to everyone.”
“No, I suppose not. But it would be a good one.”
“Maybe some other time, Albus.”
She pulled back from his lips and thought for a moment.
“You could keep Kisses in it, but just put in Love before. ‘Love Kisses’, in which both count, the candy as well as mine.”
He smiled.
“Wonderful, darling, absolutely.”
And so, Albus changed his password, pulling Minerva into another kiss as he sent the notes off.
A/N: Hope it turned out alright!
