A/N:: Please forgive me for this useless drabble, but I’ve been feeling a little… angsty lately, and I couldn’t talk myself out of it (and no, this isn’t angst). For the record, this is actually my first fic where I'm using contractions (outside of dialogue, of course).

He’s Everything

He’s the smile on my face when I’m happy, the kinds words that lift my spirit when I feel broken, the joke that makes me laugh even when I am on the verge of tears.

He’s the warm taste of hot chocolate, the sweet smell of lemon drops.

He’s my image in the Mirror of Erised, my dream come true.

He’s my hero because of the man he is, not who everyone wants him to be.

He’s my voice of reason, the optimistic outlook that can see the good in anyone.

He’s the shoulder I cry on, the stronghold in which I release all my fears.

He’s the wisdom of the ages, the childlike heart I wish to have.

He’s the breath that sustains me, the weakness that brings me to my knees.

He’s everything I ever wanted, everything I never thought I could have.

Albus Dumbledore is everything to me.
