Goodbye
Minerva sat in an empty room all alone. She hadn't left for what seemed like forever, but in reality was only a couple weeks. The days and nights blended together like there wasn't any real reason for her to be alive. She knew she couldn't live without him even if she wanted to. He was her world, her life.
She flashed back to two weeks prior, the day she buried her husband Albus Dumbledore. It was only made public a few weeks prior that they were even married. She started looking at their wedding album and knew what she had to do. If they couldn't be together in life she was going to make sure they were together in Death.
She slowly rose and dressed in her best red tarten gown that she knew Albus loved, and then quietly exited the castle. She walked slowly out on to the grounds. Tears were streaming down her pale cheeks her worn eyes never leaving the direction of her destination.
Soon she had arrived at his grave, and sat down beside it, and then wrote a small note to her friends and those she considered to be family.
"My dearest friends,
I can no longer live with the pain nor the suffering loosing my albus has caused. I have nothing to live for any longer. I refuse to be a burden to anyone because of this, and I will be no good to anyone. Take care of yourselves and each other. Always remember the lessons that he has taught you and keep the school well. I am sorry for any pain my actions may cause, but please don't grieve for I will be where I belong with Albus.
with all my love and aplogies
Minerva Dumbledore."
Afer sealing the letter and laying it by his grave. She drew her wand to her head and whispered "I am coming my love" with that she put herself into a never waking sleep to be forever with her love.
