tell me if i posted it in the wrong place!!!1! ;D enjoy
What would happen if Hermione’s parents weren’t supportive of her magic? This is what might: takes place in sixth year.
Hermione rushed from the Great Hall with tear blurred vision. Ginny followed and found her curled up in her bed clutching a note and sobbing. Ginny gently pried the note from her fingers and read it will rubbing soothing circles on her best friends back.
Dear Hermione,
You wrote to tell us your coming home for the holidays, we have decided that we are disowning you and you should never come home again. We want nothing more to do with the magical world.
Signed, David and
Jane Granger
Ginny felt a surge of anger and pulled Hermione in for a hug she held the older girl while she cried. After a while her sobs subsided and Ginny suggested they go to the Headmaster.
Albus Dumbledore was very much worried about the young Gryffindor she is the brightest in her year and had O.W.L. scores very close to his own. The sixteen year old didn’t deserve this. Her parents were blaming her for something she couldn’t get rid of. At first they had been proud, but all that had changed. as he was mulling over this he got an idea. His wife Minerva was like a mother to Hermione, he was sure she would enjoy having Hermione stay with them for the holidays.
He sent Ginny back to Gryffindor tower and flooed Minerva. She came through the fireplace and after pausing to wipe the soot from her robes, gave Hermione a hug like a mother might for her child.
“As you may have guessed we are married. Miss Gran- er Hermione how would you like to spend the holidays with us? We are going to our estate in northern England.”
“That sounds wonderful headmaster, but what about the students who are staying over break?”
“Severus has agreed to stay in our absence with the help of Rolanda Hooch. I believe there may be something going on there.” he said this with a wink, his bright blue eyes twinkling. Hermione giggled at this and Minerva was happy to hear her laugh again.
