I just was curious to see what everyone thought! I personally think I will always love MM/AD, but Maggie makes it really extraordinarily special!
Love to hear what others think! No one should judge others based on there personal opinion!

Although like you, I LOVE AD/MM! But I think only Maggie could play Minerva McGonagall!

Maggie Smith was made for Minerva and Minerva made for Maggie. Even Jo admits Maggie is perfect!

True!!! Maggie plays Min perfectly !!! But I would still be a huge AD/MM fan without her... ^^

I absolutely love Maggie. She's certainly one of the reason, if not the main, why I'm so insane about the character. Sometimes it is even like Maggie, and Minerva are interexchangeable.  Both of them are just beautiful, intelligent, witty, and all of that. I especially like both of theirs sometimes sarcastic notions.  come on, take the quote of Minerva with the axeman. LOL |

I could not see anybody but Maggie playing Minerva in the Harry Potter movies, but I would still be a MMAD fan reguardless. |

When I first read Potter - I pictured Maggie as Minerva and then a few years later JK made my dreams come true with inspired casting and also let slip that she had pictured Maggie playing Minerva too.

I saw the movies before reading the books. Minerva has always been Maggie Smith to me. |
