Hi everyone, As many of you noticed, the boards have been down for a few days. This is because our site has been in violation of the Proboards terms by having a lemon board. As such, the lemon board will be completely removed by tomorrow night at 10pm Mountain Time. I will be copying all of the stories on the lemon board in order to save them.
Take care, dianahawthorne

My question is, is it just the lemon board that needs to be removed or are they trying to sensor the board of explicit material and if so are we going to set some kind of rating system up like on ffnet. What can and can't be posted type thing.
Although no offence to anyone cause Im just as guilty but the lemons had been slipping out of their age line and onto alot of other stories. (not that I minded.) but what exactly does the proboard thing entail. other than the lemon board. is there anyway for use to view there policies about board uses.
just saying Starie

*sighs* I have read through the Terms of Service very hastily and haven't really come across anything, but that might have to do with the pace I read through it for sure. I fear that there's no other option, but to move over to AdultFanFiction.net with the Lemons. Unless of course it is possible to place the Lemons under other categories and for the Boards to not get kicked offline again.

Hi everyone, The lemon board has been removed because we are not allowed to post explicit material on the board. This does NOT mean that you can post lemon stories on the other boards of the site. As having a password-protected section of the board was a violation, obviously posting them openly would also be a violation. We are not going to get a rating system, but that doesn't mean that lemon stories will be allowed. If lemons are posted on other boards here then the thread that contains lemon content will be deleted.I am working on an alternative method to post/view the AD/MM lemons that does NOT involve Proboards. Many are already up (posted by their authors) at lumos.sycophanthex.com/ , as well as The Petulant Poetess. You must be over 18 to read them. Thank you all for your patience. If you have any questions, please feel free to PM me.

Thank you very much for the info, but the link that you posted is not working for me! It is telling me "Not Found, error". What should I do? Is it working for everyone else? ~Athena P.S. Are any of the going to be easy to find ff.net?

Thank you for the information!
The link is working for me. All my fanfictions (and lemons) are on ff.net, but trouble is that actually very lemony stuff isn't allowed on there. In contradiction, more than half of the M rated pieces on there would be MA in my eyes, too. So, actually, no one really cares. However, if someone is nasty enough to report you, FF CAN block your story, and eventually you yourself as an author as well. AdultFF.net is another option, but I personally find it not so nice of a site. Not even half of the fanfictions appears to be in their right category.
Maybe there's Tripod or another boards can be a solution?

One possibility is to start an InsaneJournal (www.insanejournal.com)
It works like LiveJournal, but has a very liberal content policy. (As in, anything goes as long as it doesn't violate US law.)
There's quite a lot of HP stuff housed there.

If anyone is interested in exploring some other sites that house HP fanfiction with a range of ratings from K through MA (or the equivalent in their own ratings systems), here are a few for you -- you may know all or most of them, but I thought I'd list them in case there are some that some people aren't familiar with. Please do note that in order to read any of the adult-rated fics on the moderated archives (e.g., OWL, SH, TPP), a person has to be of-age. Moderated Archives:Lumos on Sycophant Hex A site for general HP fanfiction, includes Lumos, Wolfsbane, Pureblood, and the Burrow categories. There's some ADMM fanfic in Lumos. There are links on the homepage to Sycophant Hex Ashwinder and SH Occlumency, an SSHG archive and Snape-centric archive, respectively, as well as an archive of slashiness, whose name escapes me at the moment (Eros & Sappho?).
Online Wizarding Library OWL is a a moderated HP fanfic archive. Several subcategories of fics. Registering can be hard -- don't use a Yahoo or Verizon email address to register, or the automated system will reject you. OWL recommends gmail, I believe. OWL is home to a wide variety of HP fanfiction. A favorite among many authors, and it's one of the first places I read HP fanfic.
The Petulant Poetess A moderated archive hosting HP fanfiction and original fiction. This is the site where I primarily post my HP fanfic, including all my ADMM fics, and especially my lemony stuff. You can bookmark fics as well as add them to favorites, or create a favorite authors list. TPP has one of the better search engines of the different moderated archives.
Here are a few other links that you may find of interest:Close Contrast: The Severus and Minerva Master List of Links If you enjoy fics with a lot of Severus and Minerva interaction, this list of links has a huge number of them. Lots of Severus and Minerva friendship fics, some romance, some gen.
Ensnaring Snape An LJ community centered around pairing Severus Snape with a female of your choice, except Hermione. Accepting fiction and art updates, meta posts, and recommendations.
HP Fanfic at WWOMB An unmoderated and "eclectic" mix of HP fanfic; appears to have a lot of slash & Darkfics available. Can't vouch for the quality of the stuff on the HP archive, but the primary archive has a LOT of other fandoms, too. Might be worth checking out for fics in some rarer fandoms. Doesn't appear to require membership or age verification to read any of the fics.
The Restricted Section An archive containing only adult-rated fanfics; a lot of SSHG, several other pairings, ménage à trois, etc. Not accepting new fics, but will remain open indefinitely. Little or no ADMM on the site.
I know there are other sites out there, and others with ADMM fics, but these are the ones that came easily to hand. I hope that people find the list useful! Maybe others have more links to add. *ETA*: I think that an adult Yahoo group might potentially work well to post lemons. You can actually upload files to a special section of the group as well as include attachments in emailed posts. There is a space limit in the files area, but there could always be "overflow" groups created to house more lemons in downloadable format. There are a lot of other features that Yahoo groups have, as well. And since Yahoo takes care of the age-restriction with the adult groups, it's not something that the mods have to worry about too much. It would be easier to find particular stories, too, than it would be on a journal -- I never read fics on a livejournal or insanejournal unless someone sends me a specific link. I find the structure of typical journals (all posts in chronological order) not very well suited to story posting, but that just may be me. If there's some other way of doing it, it's confused me too much to figure it out! LOL! I post some fics to my blog because it's possible to have a more website-like area of the blog that consists of undated pages rather than posts, but the blog host I use doesn't permit adult content, so I only post stuff rated T and lower.

Thanks to MMADfan for the suggestions. I second the rec for The Petulant Poetess; it's user-friendly and well-organized. I have found the moderators there quite helpful, as well. The journal structure works fine for shorter works, but I agree it is unwieldy for longer works (there is a way to re-order entries, but it's an extra step and a PITA, in my opinion.) The tagging system works pretty well to organize and find fics by whatever categories the owner/moderator of the journal defines. I generally just post my shorter fic on my LiveJournal; longer stuff is on FFN, including lemons, until they boot me off. I haven't done much with Yahoo groups, but sounds like an idea with potential.

Wow, since my lemon (The Bond) was over six hundred chapters I'm not sure I'm going to repost it unless I get specific requests to. I'm still trying to edit it enough to fit into standard fanfic categories...sigh. Cheers, Minx.

Hi everyone, I'm working on getting something set up to view all the lemons. I'm leaning towards creating a Yahoo group, though I haven't had a chance yet to set things up. Please bear with me a little longer!
Again, if you have any questions, please PM me.

I don't know if you've figured what you're doing for the lemons yet... as I've not looked too much beyond this yet... but should you have figured something out, or if you're still in the process... can you please NOT put my lemons up!! If anyone wants to read them, as well as those written by Jaya, they can be found on my website as always, along with all of our AD/MM fics!! thank you!!
