FanFic 100 Challenge #:: 013- Yellow
“Would you care for a lemon drop?” Albus asks, his eyes alive with a childlike sparkle.
“No, thank you.”
With a shrug, Albus holds the candy to the light, inspecting it like one would a nugget of gold. He watches in merriment as the sugar crystals glisten like freshly cut diamonds under a bright light.
“Wonderful,” he says, popping the candy into his mouth with a contented smile.
Minerva shakes her head in half amusement, half distaste as Albus swirls the lemon sweet in his mouth.
“Honestly, Albus, is there anything you love more than lemon drops?”
“Of course”
“Oh, really? And what would that be?”
“You”
