She never expected to, never wanted to live a day without Albus, but now she must. She must go on in life not only because of the war that is eminent in the Wizarding world but because she is a mother now. She cannot, will not leave her child alone in this world, absent from the comfort and love that he or she fully deserves.
She walks unsteadily to the tomb and places a cold hand upon it, promising Albus and herself that she will raise this child as she knew he would wish, knowing in her heart that the secret she carries, no matter how many tears she will shed because of it, is a symbol of joy, never a burden.
