This poem is from Minerva's perspective. Albus, of course, is the other person mentioned in the poem. Alas. . .
CROSSING OVER
By aid of rescue, by helping hand, I stand on two feet I stand on the ground.
My savior by cometh to my dieing side, he told me three words that I couldn't understand.
My body lay aching, my head screaming death, my heart was still racing, still beating me on.
I took in a breath and told him my thought. . .
"I love you, I need you, my silent friend. If I die, keep a piece of me with you as I will do, you.
"In my heart, I'm still loving you, as I always have; In silence, In thought, but also in dreams.
"I'll wait for you, love, if you'll wait to come. Take care of yourself, and we're soon to be-"
I held my last breath and passed over to naught. Sweet silence is golden, I am where I shall.
You helped me move on, from where my heart was attatched. You said 'It's okay; death is but the next stage of life.' My savior, my rescuer, my helping hand, tis what you are, for I now stand on my own.
-Originally, this wasn't the ending. But. . . This fits better than the other ending.
