Does he see me for who I really am?
Does he know that I love him?
Does he see right through me with his twinkling blue eyes?
Does he love me back?
Is it right for me to love him? I ask myself.
And I answer myself, Of course it is.
But does he love me too?
I, Minerva Renee McGonagall, wonder. I don't have all the answers. I, Head Girl and Gryffindor, wonder. Is it right to love a teacher? Transfiguration...my favorite subject. He said I was his best student. What does Professor Dumbledore think about me?

Does she notice the way I look at her?

It may be right. Love doesn't choose. It simply is. Fate has decided that this laughing, raven-haired girl is the one for me.
Does she love me? I still have to ask myself. I know I should be ashamed. I am ninety-seven years old and I am deeply in love with a seventeen-year old. Minerva. The name rings in my ears like music. Minerva McGonagall, Head Girl, Gryffindor. Beautiful...wonderful...Minerva.
But I am her teacher! I am her Head of House...should I be in love with her?
