A/N: If you don't know who died yet in OotP, don't read this. Pick up OotP...or whichever Harry Potter book you haven't read yet besides OotP...and finish reading all five first. I mean it. Sorry to sound bossy...but...well. Just to say that this has MAJOR OotP spoilers...oh, and it is kind of out of place on the AD/MM board, as Cie kindly pointed out. I am adding a bit at the end to help that issue.
His eyes are pools of murky gray water, His hair the darkness of midnight; An innocent lamb readied for slaughter, A supposed murderer, who once gave Harry a fright.
He escaped death once, and his laugh Was a barking joy, a clanging bell. But his joyous freedom was cut in half He was struck down, and then he fell.
Through the veil, eyes wide and staring; As if he couldn't believe this call by Death. He had no warning, and had not been preparing To lose this battle, and draw a last breath.
This happened so quickly...I could not believe. Mourning Padfoot, I wiped tears away with my sleeve.
"Albus, what are you writing?" I looked up. It was Minerva. "Nothing, nothing, Tabby," I said. I forced a smile, and kissed her.

Daw! So sad! THough it actually is a bit out of place on an ad/mm board, I like the sonnet. The format and syllable usage are right, and the rhyme scheme and meter are correct. Nice job, Fuzzy. I hope you get a good grade on it.

Oh my, that was so beautiful! And you just had to put some ADMM in, great Loved the last sentence, although it was incredibly sad: "Nothing, nothing, Tabby," I said. I forced a smile, and kissed her. Albus is so sad, I feel so pitty for him, blaming himself for the death of Sirius. I hate Voldemort! Sorry, got a bit carried away... Great poem, like Lies said: Shakespearian. And that means a lot! (I've just watched Romeo and Julia ) Love, Sarah xx
