Title: Lost Love
Summary: Sometimes it's a struggle between doing what is right and what your heart desires.

Depressed I must confess, of late I struggle with Gryffindorness
Deprived of my bravery, the white knight has departed in protest
Roughly dooming my heart, dooming my soul to embers of black
In the midst of passion I fear your love for me you lack
Distressed through the dead of night, your eyes haunt my light
Daring thoughts into action, urging powerful attractions
Darkly denying the true truth, denying the brink of emptiness
In the shade of my safe shadow I break down and confess
Dominated by natural instinct, I withdraw in your presence
Desire mocking my retreat, genuineness lost in defeat
Sadly rejecting my fantasy, rejecting a possible dream
You and I, our unspoken love will be a lost requiem
