Title: Cat Summary: Weird angst poem... I'm not a poet. It's not that great, so I guess I just blame the bunnies. It's free-verse, but kind of has a rhythm, and kind of rhymes. It does when I read it, anyways. Written in about 30 seconds. Honestly, this author's note took longer than the poem. ;D Rating: 13+, I guess. *~o0O0o~*~o0O0o~*~o0O0o~* She never finds courage to sit in that chair. His chair. She remains, quite stoically, at her old, Refusing to listen to those that say She is being unreasonable. Nor does she sit at that desk. His desk. She has instead, Prepared up her own Away in the corner Overshadowed by The glory lingering from The other one. But sometimes at night, A cat His cat Who's been crying herself to sleep, Will jump from her bed Crawling in instead The chair that still smells like lemons.

Oh, well, I'm 'splaining anyway.
Minerva hasn't sat in any of the chairs that Albus used to sit in, and everyone thinks that she's just being sentimental and stupidly impractical, but, in reality, she dosen't want to sit in the chairs because then Albus' smell would wear off. So when she's sad, she goes and smells him in the chairs.
And he smells lemony. Because I decided that that's what his bubblebath smells like.
Yep.
That's the poem in a nutshell.

Angsty ... but i like angst! I can just see Minerva sitting in the corner ... it's almost as if his ghost is still there. Sometimes absence is more palpable than a solid presence ...
