"Albus, I love you!" Minerva McGonagall exclaimed, throwing her arms around her the Greatest Wizard on Earth. "You've done it! Lord Voldemort is dead!" Grinning broadly, she kissed him more soundly than he had ever thought she would.
"So I take this, my dear, to mean that we are changing the parameters of our relationship?" he asked, mildly, trying as hard as he could to stifle a grin, but failing miserably as she snarled in frustration. "I'm only joking!" he laughed, kissing her again. "You've defeated the most powerful Dark Wizard of all time, and your chief concern is the parameters of our relationship?"
"One, Harry actually did it, and Two, What can I say? You're all that I can think about." His eyes twinkled suggestively. Minerva blushed in spite of herself.
"That is the most horrid pick-up line I have ever heard in my life." she scolded,still faintly pink.
"Yes, but it had the desired effect."
"So may I presume to take this to mean that you are perfectly willing to change the parameters of our relationship?"
"Minerva, I am more than willing, on one condition."
"And what is that?"
"You do not hold me responsible for anything I may or may not have done between the years of 1960 and 1975."
"Between 1960 and 1975? What on Earth does that have to do with anything? You became headmaster, I started teaching Transfiguration..." She sighed, frustrated. "Am I missing something, Albus?"
She missed the reminiscent smile as it flitted across his face, "No, my dear, I'm sure there's nothing that you would ever miss knowing."

What did he do??? I hope it doesn't effect their re-defining paramaters. I'm intrigued now, can't wait to see what happens next.

That is sooooooooooo unfair!!! You can't just stop there and not tell us what he did!!!! Consider this an official repremanding from the Deputy Head for doing such a thing to us all!!! *Sorry I haven't updated, but I've been SO busy with school (Calculus is not fun). Here's a bridge until I can get to another good plot point.
But Albus Dumbledore was wrong. After all of the joyous festivities had died down, and people began to return to their normal lives, Minerva couldn't rid herself of that tiny nagging thought. What could Albus have possibly done between 1960 and 1975 that he wouldn't want her to know about? She couldn't very well ask him, as she had promised she wouldn't. There must be somebody who knew. Aberforth! She could ask him the next time she went to Hogsmeade.
"I wouldn't do that if I were you, Minerva." Severus Snape sneered, "I don't know if you would like what you would hear." She *hated* it when he read people's minds.
"Wait a minute, *You* know what he's hiding from me?" she asked eagerly, "What is it?" He gave her a look that said, "I know everything."
"I thought you promised you wouldn't ask about it. A promise is a promise, Minerva." Snape taunted her.
"I promised I wouldn't hold him accountable. I didn't promise that I wouldn't find out from other people. There is a difference."
"How very Slytherin-like of you." Snape smiled.
Minerva scowled at him, "I am as much of a Slytherin as your loyalty to Albus makes you a Hufflepuff. If you will excuse me, I believe I was on my way to speak with Aberforth Dumbledore."

What the heck did he do? It must be something really embarassing, cause normally Severus has no problem blurting out secrets. (see the whole Lupin's a werewolf fiasco at the end of POA) I'm really curious now... I want to find out
