Oh lord this was calling to be written… to me at least. Blame the writers for Cane and yes Albus would NEVER dream of cheating on Min! ever but I couldn’t resist writing this Yes it’s not my usual rot your teeth fluff this time around but it was calling. Yes it’s just a drabble and the title sucks but still. Oh yah and btw, this is AFTER book seven no Albus isn’t dead (duh) he’s not gay and it’s pretty much in my own little world disregarding a lot of JKR’s world… AND people know Min and Albus are married.
I own nothing! Not even the lines at the end really Min/Albus/anything from Harry Potter belongs to JKR and her people etc and the stuff from Cane belongs to CBS and the dudes who own Cane

“What?” gasped Minerva, staring at the healer across the desk from where she sat next to Albus. “You mean those fifty or so horse pills he’s been taking everyday for the past two months aren’t doing anything?” Was he serious? “If they’re not doing anything why did you-”
“Mrs. McDore.” The healer sighed how did he explain this? This conversation was always one of the hardest. “It worked the last time but we’re just going to have to take another approach it seems this tumor.” Minerva visibly flinched at the mention of the word; she wasn’t one who was easy to shake but she was so worried about her husband. “It seems it’s developed a resistance to the drugs we’ve been using.”
Beneath the table, Albus squeezed his wife’s hand. She met his gaze for a moment before turning back to the doctor. “Then what else can we do?”
“Well there aren’t many magical options left but there is the muggle treatment. Che-” The healer began only to be cut off by Albus rather strong protest of, “No.”
“Albus you can’t be serious we have to at least consi-”
“No I won’t do it.”
“Albus please just hear him out.”

Minerva glared across the room at her husband as he sat at his desk reading several days later. How could he be so stubborn as to do something like this? He well knew he was still needed; she refused to let him just stand by and watch him willingly die. Even if they had exhausted all the magical ‘cures’ for his cancer they still could at least try the muggle things. She didn’t want to think of losing Albus yet; the very thought of it hurt too much. He had a wife, a school, and a family to take care of. For Merlin’s sake, they had a grandchild on the way! “You can stop looking at me like that Min it’s not going to change my mind.” He didn’t even look up from his book at her but merely turned the page walking to the bedroom, “You might as well come get ready we’ve got to go to London in an hour for that Minstery dinner.” Why was she being like this? She knew how he felt about everything and she was just being too stubborn.
She looked up at the ceiling for a moment before stalking off in the direction of their bathroom, only coming out a half hour later ready for the dinner but still ignoring her husband. Why was he doing this? That was the one thing about the last few days; he never would understand he was needed here, and he could just throw it all away like that. As she walked towards the fireplace to grab the Floo-Powder Albus slipped an arm around her waist, “Don’t touch me!” She pulled away glaring at him coldly. Minerva had no intentions of letting him get his way about this if he was willing to throw everything away like that he could just live without everything else he had for the time being.
“Just go away and leave me alone.” Minerva bit her lip the past few days’ events finally becoming just a bit too much for her. Taking a deep breath, she moved away sitting down on the couch, “Albus just don’t…” He thought he could just act as if everything was fine after what had happened? Was he crazy? She wasn’t going to let him get away with things like that.
He knelt in front of the couch taking his wife’s hands in his own, “Mina … honey, look at me. I don't want to die a lonely old man who doesn't get to do the thing he loves most. Like running Hogwarts….” She glared at him for a moment not wanting to hear any of this. “Or enjoying every aspect of his wife.”
“Then do this honey please. I don’t want to lose you.”
“You’re not going to lose me.” Albus moved to the couch and pulled her close, “Never.”
