I'm constantly reading fanfic where either a) McGonagall and Dumbledore are secretly married, or b) somebody tries to play matchmaker between them.
So I thought, why not put both things together? They're married, but no-one (or almost no-one) knows. But somebody (or a few somebodies) see(s) the hints and decide to get them together.
That would make an interesting situation, don't you think?

Don't mind her. She's nuts. (Don't hurt me, Endora!) I would snatch it all up, but I'm already up to my neck in stories. I've got a couple on FF.net I need to finish up, and I have one out here, so...  Can't take it, but I'd LOVE to read it when it is found.  |

That sounds wonderful. I really hope someone does it, I'd really love to read it. I think I read a fic that brushed on it. "You mean you've been married for all these years, and we've been wasting our time and effort trying to get you two together!" "Yes. It was quite amusing." I think it said something like that.

I'm sorry I don't remember. I think I read on ff.net, when I was lurking around ADMM. I remember Poppy being quite put out that she never knew. But I only remember that bit of dialogue. Sorry.
