Not your standard AD/MM, but...

This is an idea I got after reading many fanfics in which AD or MM are sure their love is unrequited and are scared to admit it because of what they think the other's reaction will be. While it's an understandable train of thoughts for someone in that situation to have, it's unrealistic, IMHO.
I mean, they're best friends, surely one wouldn't just start hating the other simply because of their love!

So my idea was that Minerva is in love with Albus and is sure it's unrequited, but decides to tell him anyway since she's tired of keeping secrets and is sure he, as her friends and being the man he is, will be understanding.
She does and (surprise!) he really doesn't return her love.
But, as her friend and being the man he is, he doesn't push her away (duh!) and tries to help her, even though it's quite an awkward situation.


I realize these are the AD/MM shipper boards, and if I'm overstepping the line or breaking a rule by encouraging someone to post a non-AD/MM fic, I sincerely apologize and I hope I haven't offended anyone.
