A prodigy is defined as: 1. a person, esp. a child or young person, having extraordinary talent or ability: a musical prodigy. 2. a marvelous example (usually fol. by of). 3. something wonderful or marvelous; a wonder. 4. something abnormal or monstrous. 5. Archaic. something extraordinary regarded as of prophetic significance.
This pernicious bunny is about Albus or Minerva being discovered to be a prodigy in something extraordinary when they were very young. For whatever reason, they are forced (or thoroughly embarassed) about their abilities and strive to hide it all through adulthood.
To appease the bunny you must: 1. Show Albus or Minerva as toddlers when they (or their appalled families) discover their talent. 2. The talent cannot be connected with the use of a wand. It can be something muggle-ish, or magical without a wand or completely incidental but oh so effective. I think people can be very imaginative with this one. 3. Show Albus and Minerva as adults when the talent is revealed. 4. Show in some way the steps (unusual or extreme) that either goes through to keep their secret just that secret. Of course, blackmail is always a fun option!
Oh, extra points for alliteration like the title - try saying that 4 times fast. Not picky - can be fluffy, humor, comedy or even a lemon.
Have fun! rogueinker
