What if Albus and Minerva had to acquire Muggle wardrobes sometime in the late 1970s? Not just one outfit for a special occasion, but, say, a week's worth of clothing for a variety of events? I would think that Albus' fashion tastes would gravitate towards the most outlandish of 1970s style--"Albus + '70s fashion = match made in heaven"--while Minerva's, umm, wouldn't. What would their shopping trip be like? Would they still be speaking at the end, or even still together? <g> What clothes would they each end up w/ ?
This bunny attacked me this morning while I pondered outfitting them for a week's vacation in Italy in 1978 for my Love and Wisdom fic. I will make some passing reference to the problem in my fic but I think it could be more fully developed into quite a good humour piece!
