Hey y'all,
I'm flying to Rome tomorrow, courtesy of my mother. She and I will be visiting Rome, Naples, Palermo, and Syracuse. I'm very excited, as this is the first time I've traveled outside the United States, with the exception of Canada & Mexico. This means that I won't be here to review your responses to my challenge. When I get back, which will be late in the evening of October 29, I will be severely jet-lagged, but I will also be in the mood for Halloween stories featuring our favorite couple! Therefore, without further ado, I give you the Halloween Mischief Challenge!
In the old days, Halloween was "Mischief Night" when children declared one night of unpunished pranks. Well, who says the kids should have all the fun?
There is another old tradition in which you attach names to hazelnuts and throw them in the fire. The first one that cracks will be your lover.
Write a Halloween story involving adult pranks, hazelnut divination, a really spectacular kiss, and an extremely flustered Minerva and/or Albus. Good luck, and let the fun begin! ;D
