“Minerva, I’m going for a walk. Care to join me, my dear?” Rising from the couch I laid my book upon the table so I could reach for his hand. “Of course, there are some flowers I’d like to pick anyway.” As I slipped my hand into his, long and firm, my darling lifted it to his lips for a quick kiss; we walked in silence around our summer home drinking in the last remaining rays of the sun. As we reached the field in which I wanted to gather some flowers for the kitchen my love stopped our movements. I love the look he is giving me now, so full of: love, desire, need, and want. He kisses me, and gently lowers me to the ground. His warm tongue is expertly exploring my mouth as his hand begins to move up my side; at last he moves it to cover…”
“Minerva, Minerva are you awake?” Groggily Minerva McGonagall stumbles out of her bed quite disappointed that she never got to finish her dream. Glancing at her clock she noticed it was three in the morning. ‘What in heavens name could Albus want at this hour?’
Opening the door the twinkling blue eyes of her, now, twenty-four hour beau were staring down at her as he leaned forward to place a quick kiss to her forehead. Sweeping past her he perched upon her bed waiting for Minerva to join him. Raising an eyebrow she eventually shrugged and shut the door.
They had been sitting in silence for a few minutes when Minerva finally spoke, “Albus I don’t mean to be rude, but what is it that has you in my bedroom at three in the morning? You interrupted a very nice dream.”
Eyes twinkling madly Albus asked, “Oh, really what was your dream about, my dear?”
Quickly adverting her eyes Minerva coughed, “Um, never mind about that. Why are you here?”
“Ah, yes well, Harry has found the Mirror of Erised.” Minerva waited for more, “And…”
“Oh yes, sorry. I told him it would be moved tonight, and not to go looking for it. He sees his parents with him in the mirror, Minerva.”
Reaching to cover her hand with his Minerva replied, “That is not overly surprising, Albus, but that’s not what is troubling you. Perhaps it was what you saw in the mirror?”
Albus removed his hand from under hers, “Yes about that, well that is what I wanted to speak to you about, well, you see Minerva…”
Not a patient woman on her best day Minerva was most certainly not patient this early in the morning, “Albus, please just tell me and stop beating around the bush!”
Turning completely toward her Albus took her delicate hand in both of his, “Well you see I saw us my dear, waking up together. Your head was resting on my chest, and I got what looked like a very nice kiss to wish me good morning. I’m here, because well, I was wondering if we could indeed wake up together.”
Minerva removed her hand from Albus’ and moved to get into her bed. Albus just sat there staring at her until she patted the side beside of her. Smiling Albus made quick work of his robes, and climbed into the bed gathering Minerva to him.
“My dear what was your dream about,” Albus inquired once again hoping he could make it come true.
Leaning up Minerva whispered exactly what she had dreamed into his ear stopping where he had awakened her. In a teasing manner Albus innocently asked what he was about to cover with his hand. Never the shy one Minerva took his hand within her own and brought it up to her breast, “Ah, yes I do believe that was it.”
Albus’ hand began massaging the breast of its own accord and as he rolled her on to her back he said into her neck, “I think we should wait until we get some wildflowers.”
Gripping his back tighter Minerva spoke quickly, “Don’t you even think about it Albus Dumbledore! You’re going to get your heart’s desire, now I want mine.”
Chuckling Albus willing gave her exactly what she and he wanted.
