AD/MM dreams

Looks like there's no thread for AD/MM-related dreams.

Here's the one I had last week. It was July 21, and I was reading Book 7. It was in the early chapters, and I'm pretty sure it was a flashback - probably Harry inside Albus' Pensieve. The scene is something random, just Albus, Minerva, and Snape talking about something. Then Albus smiles at something and it's described as lighting up his whole face and being beautiful that "it was impossible to resist kissing him. And that's exactly what Minerva McGonagall did."

At this point, my dream self dropped the book and the fork with which I was eating my bowl of noodles in excitement and proceeded to sob with happiness at the table before quickly excusing myself. Then I sat at my computer desk with my cheek laying against that page in the book, crying some more. Kind of pathetic, yeah.

Then I woke up and nearly sobbed all over again because it was only a dream.

Now - I know I'm not the only one who's had these kind of dreams!

Ooh, yes, I've had ADMM dreams as well. I always wake up angry, though, because they're just dreams. haha

I had a dream sort of like that...

I was sitting on my porch and JK Rowling was there, which to my dream self seemed perfectly normal. She wanted to talk to me about Deathly Hallows, and whether I had any questions to ask her about the final book.

And of course I couldn't bring myself to ask about our favorite couple because I was SO AFRAID she would laugh in my face and be like, "Those two?!? Hahaha! No way!"

So, similar dream but sort of different I guess.

Lol. I had one once, but it was kind of... weird... There was this evil dark wizard who was shouting about how Min and Albus should not be together. Spooky..

I had a dream recently after watching the movie Sister Act. In the dream, I met Whoopi Goldberg but she was mad at me because all I wanted to talk about was what it was like working with Maggie Smith, and if she still talked to her...I wanted to get in touch with Maggie and ask her about Albus and Minerva...

I've had a dream where I was playing tag in the department of mysteries with Albus and Minerva, except Albus wasn't very good at running AWAY from Minerva, he just kept running TOWARDS her, so he was almost always "it".

Lol, I had a wierd, funny dream that Severus was being forced to "inspect" (like Umbridge was doing to the teachers in OotP) the Dumbledores- Albus and Minerva-, but he was upset about having to do so because he was afraid he would walk in on something "inappropriate." haha ;D

Haha for some reason whenever I have an ADMM dream I'm always like in Min's body (like Harry was in the snake during OotP when that snake [can't remember it's name/too lazy to look it up] attacked Arthur). 99% of the time Albus is a damn good kisser too... among other things

I had a dream once that Albus came back and visited Minerva after he left (during OoP). When he did, they snogged until all of the sudden Dolores blasted open Minerva's chambers and started attacking Albus. She started yelling, "No! She's mine!" to Albus. It was really creepy.

I think this happened after I read a fic about Umbridge liking Minerva and trying to snog her. *shudders* Good fic; bad reprocutions. (sp)

I had a dream that I was at the midnight release of Deathly Hallows, and I flipped to the table of contents where there was a chapter entitled "In Which Albus Dumbledore Finds His Soulmate." I, of course, woke up before I could read the chapter in its entirety, but I did notice that the first words of chapter were "Minerva McGonagall."

Okay, be prepared for a long, WIERD dream!


Last night, I had a dream that I was a student at Hogwarts, and I got in trouble with McGonagall, so I was running away from her. I was running plenty of space ahead of her, and Kingsley Shacklebolt (from OotP, of course) got in front of McGonagall and started running after me as well. Even he couldn't stop me, but McGonagall threw a spell at me, and even from her distance and with Kingsley in between us, she hit me with it and threw me up into the air. I was quite impressed by her accuracy. ;D

Then, McGonagall took me into her office, and we started talking about random things, even though she was supposed to be punishing me. hehe. I wouldn't address her by "Professor McGonagall" or simply "McGonagall." I kept calling her "Minerva McGonagall." Finally, I was like, "Minerva McGonagall, tell me something about you, about your past or something," so she told me that in her 7th year of Hogwarts, they had a prom. There was this guy that she really wanted to impress, so her friends gave her the nickname "Roni" (I don't know where that came from!!) to make her sound older so she could dance with the guy. My brain starts thinking, "Omgosh, maybe it's Albus! But no, it probably isn't Albus..." so I asked her who it was, and she said Albus Dumbledore. I was pleased, to say the least.

As McGonagall told me about Albus, I put all of her thoughts into something that looked like an enlarged golden Snitch with no wings, like one would put thoughts into a pensieve. Then, for some reason, I tied it to a string. I asked her how she felt about Albus now (surprisingly, I didn't get in trouble for calling him "Albus" or calling her "Minerva McGonagall." lol), and she blushed a bit and turned away. She thought about it and said, "I think he's... eccentric" and began acting as if she didn't like him anymore. I said, "You know what I think, Minerva McGonagall? I think, psychologically speaking, you're just unhappy with yourself because you're not with him, so you won't admit how much you really like him!"

Then, I was sleeping outside with the Trio and some other Hogwarts students near the Forbidden Forest (I dunno why!). All of a sudden, a ghostly-white figure starts coming towards us. I was like, "Omgosh, GHOOOST!" (lol), and Ron hits it with a spell, and it falls backwards. I said, "No, you're an idiot! That was Minerva McGonagall!" The figure got up (the spell did nothing but knock it over) and dusted off. Coming closer, we noticed it was a female with long, dark hair and was wearing a white dress robe. Ron said, "It couldn't have been McGonagall. She's so beautiful.." Then he realized it was McGonagall. haha. She walks over to us and blushes again and tells me Albus always loved her hair down. I collect the thought in my wingless Snitch and head off to find Albus.

When I find Albus, he's working in his office, and acts as if he's too busy to talk, but I could tell he was upset about something, and I knew that something was McGonagall. To get him to help me, I tie tight knots all in my Snitch string and tell him I can't get them out. When he takes it to help untie them, his Legillimency is so strong that he can instantly feel all of McGonagall's confessions that were in the Snitch...

And that's all I remember! lol. But they did get together in the end.

Last night I had my first dream in which I was actually Minerva. It started out that Albus was holding a staff meeting for the Hogwarts professors. He was at the front of the room, writing our names and tasks he wanted us to accomplish on a dry erase board. Out beside my name (meaning Minerva's, of course), he kept doodling things like "beautiful" and "lovely" and stuff like that in front of everyone. I got really mad at him for it because I thought he was making fun of me or something, and it hurt his feelings. I refused to talk to Albus after that, so Harry Potter persuaded him to follow me around until I listened to him. I finally got so frustrated with him that I did listen, and he apologized and said the reason he wrote the things was because they were true. I was still upset about it, but I forgave him. Darn those twinkling blue eyes. hehe

Okay, I've just felt able to post this, but this morning I had a dream that we were doing the Live Chat thing with JK (don't worry, the dream was WAY better than the actual chat! ). It finally got around to a MMAD question, something to the extent of asking if Minerva and Albus were in love, and JK said that at the beginning of Voldemort's reign, Albus was going to be forced to literally shed his blood to save Hogwarts, but Minerva begged him to stop because she would gladly give up all her blood for him. JK was like, "So yeah, they were obviously in love."

And the one about Whoopi Goldberg, I would totally do that in real life to anyone who had worked with Maggie Smith or Miranda Richardson...

I've never had a MMAD dream, sadly. The closest I got was one where a huge class of students was sitting in the DADA room as it looked when Snape was shoving werewolf clues in everyone's faces. For whatever reason, Rita Skeeter was in there taking an exam with all of the students. Albus and Minerva were walking arm-in-arm up her row and wondering what the hell they were going to do about Rita.

I don't even know.

I had a weird one that has been repeating for 5 nights, I don't count this as a nightmare because I have been laughing and shouting in my sleep. I dreamt that I was the only Chinese student in Gryffindor, I never knew which Chinese profanities I had been shouting there but the only thing I can remember is sleeping during Transfiguration and McGonagall trying to wake me up. Let me see, I think the words are "piao si", and the Chinese for "shut up and let me sleep in my desk" She gave me a lecturing after class, and then I woke up...

Hmmm... I've had two MMAD related dreams. None as cute as all of yours, but ah well.

In the first, I was woken up by Albus, Minerva, Severus and Mad-Eye in the middle of the night. I was told that I had to go to Grimmauld Place immediately, and had to get on the back of Mad-Eye's broom. I noticed as we flew that Albus and Minerva were sharing a broom, and Mad-Eye kept rolling his eyes at them. When we arrived, I suddenly realised that it was the summer after OotP had happened, and that I knew what was going to happen in book 6 (this was before book 7 was released). I told everyone I knew what was going to happen, and said that I had to see Dumbledore alone. Snape was looking at me weirdly, and it took a while to get Albus on his own. I told him about being killed by Snape, and he cried because his trust had been broken (which doesn't make much sense as the awake me always believed Snape was good). Not much MMADness in that one, rather sadness.

The other one was quite... different. I was Minerva as a student, and I was having a secret relationship with Albus!!

Nice dream, it gave me a smile while I'm reading it at home after the rigors of homework. Good thing it doesn't involved making a teacher extremely angry, or hysterical! ;D

Last night, I had a dream that I met Maggie Smith. It was obviously during the taping for a HP film (I believe it was HBP) because she was fully dressed as Minerva. There was no one else around, for some reason, and I was kinda nervous to approach her, but I did so anyways, and she was soo nice. I talked to her for a second before bursting out, "Oh my goshh, I looove your 'Minerva hair'!" (lol) I asked her if I could touch it, and she let me. haha. Then I told her I'm a "sucker for Minerva with her hair down," so she let her hair down for me. XD Then I leaned over and burst out, "So, what do you think about JK thinking Albus was gay?" and she just kinda glared and said "Next.." and we both agreed that Albus was not gay and that he and Minerva were in love.
Then, I met the guy that played Albus, and he wasn't Michael Gambon or Richard Harris... They fired Michael, or something, and hired this guy. He was really very nice, though. Maggie kept calling him "Charlie," but I have no idea what actor he was supposed to be. He did act a bit like Albus, too. We talked about Albus and Minerva for awhile, and he said that they were definitely in love. ;D
So then I told Maggie and "Charlie" about our site and asked if I had their permission to quote them so I could post it on here. lol

I've had a few ADMM dreams, not recently so I can't remember much about them. I know that about a year ago when I was really writing a lot of fanfic I would dream in narration...so much so that I once woke up from a Remus/Sirius dream and wrote down the narration from my dream and actually used some of that in my fic, "A Night Full of Suprises". Something similar happened that lead to "Meant To Be", which is ADMM, though I haven't worked on it lately.

I had a really great AD/MM dream last night! They were sitting in an living room and cuddled on the couch in front of a fire place! I walked into the room, but I wasn't myself I was there daughter. We had Idle parent and child conversation! and then I woke up..It was awsome.

Well, mine wasn't as cute as all yours. Mine wasn't really even AD/MM related. It was AD/MM board related. THis one is long and rather strange, so fasten your seatbelts. RaM was published, and I picked up a copy. But RaM wasn't the name, it was called, like, "Everlasting Love" or something, so anyway, I bought one, and I read the first page, and I was like "Uh...this is definatly RaM."

So, I (of course) signed onto the board and started asking you all if you had seen it, and everyone said that they had. This popup came on the screen and said that JKR was sueing MMADfan for the story, and then then I suppose you all got it to, because the message box at the bottom just exploded wuth people abusing JKR

And THEN I turned on the news and it siad that RaM would stay on the bookshelves, bacuase JKR stopped caring. And then I woke up.

(i REALLY need to stop snacking on the icecream before i go to bed)
