I hope everyone will participate in my challenge. My first idea wasn't a Valentine's one but I decided to change it.
Albus adores his familiar, Fawkes and notices that Minerva doesn't have a pet at all and decides to give her one on Valentines Day.
The challenge is to have Albus give her a pet (of your choice) which Minerva dislikes. They are a fledgling couple at the beginning of the fic but you can determine whether they progress, stagnate, or break up. (growl)
There must be a fight, reconciliation, and Minerva becoming fond of the animal even if she chooses not to keep it.
I expect at least nine participants if not ten.
