A/N: So, no one was writing anything. This is short, I just wanted something here.
“Albus, you made me go to that insufferable bowling alley three weeks ago and that was only because you cheated the night before by asking me personal and embarrassing questions during our chess match. Now I just beat you fair and square and I don’t want to hear a single word out of your mouth!”
“Minerva, there’s no reason to…”
“Not a single word!” She yelled and stormed out of Albus’ sitting room. Albus really didn’t understand why she was so upset. He knew that she did not have a good time bowling, she did not take his advice and she wore a long dress instead of muggle pants, but it wasn’t his fault she tripped over herself and ripped the dress completely off everything below her waist. She, of course, obliviated everyone in the place, except Albus who was abandoned there rolling on the floor laughing.
It took Albus over a week just to get Minerva to talk to him again. Tonight had been the first time since then that she had played chess with him, and they usually did it twice a week. She usually wasn’t a sore lose, though she hardly ever did lose, but Albus had asked her about previous intimate relationships with other men. It had not started out to be a way to distract her from the game, he was just curious. He started to understand why she was upset promised to himself that he would be a good sport about whatever it was she decided they were going to do.

Minerva had hoped that Albus would be more sympathetic. She was mortified in front of him and he laughed at her and continued to make her feel inferior. Prior to a few weeks ago, their relationship seemed to change. Nothing really happened, but she started to catch Albus staring at her and he would touch her more often. He would walk her back to her chambers whenever she was in his office and give her small kisses on her cheeks to say goodbye.
She needed to come up with something good to do. Each of them liked to escape the wizarding world and do something fun from time to time. Albus had a long running passion for bowling, but she would never do that again. There were few muggle activities that she considered fun, but she had to think of something.
After she showered and changed for bed, she remembered a time one of her nieces told her about a movie she saw. Muggle cinema had become extremely popular, so she decided to investigate the next morning.

Albus arrived at breakfast before most of the other staff and all of the students. Minerva soon came to sit next to him.
“I have chosen something for us to do Saturday night. There is a theatre in a town not too far from here that plays older movies on the weekends. This week it is Casablanca. I have not heard much about this movie, just that it is based in the 1940’s and it has a mix of drama and romance. It is what we will be seeing. See you at lunch.” She stood after only buttering a piece of toast and taking it with her.
Albus was continually excited about this for the next two days as Saturday approached. He had cut his beard short as always whenever he traveled to a muggle area, it just didn’t do for a man to have hair and beard below his waist in the muggle world. Why, he did not know.
“I was wondering if you would be on time. Let us go.” Minerva led him to the gates. “I did not have time to get a portkey made, so just hold my hand and aparate and we will end up at the same place.
Albus smiled as he took her hand in both if his as they disappeared. They landed in a dark deserted alleyway and Albus whispered, “Fantastic spot, my dear,” as he kissed her cheek.
She felt lucky that it was dark and he could not see her blush. She went to pull her hand away, but he held to it and interlaced their fingers. “Which way is the theatre?”
“Just about two blocks that way,” she pointed left. “I wasn’t sure how close we should go, I thought this was a safe distance.”
“Yes, I would say. It is a lovely evening.” He couldn’t believe he was talking about the weather. “How were your classes these last few days? I haven’t had a chance to talk to you.”
“Just fine. Having five Weasleys at one time isn’t exactly my dream come true, but it could be worse, at least there’s only one Malfoy.” Minerva would never be heard discussing the students she liked and disliked at school, but away from Hogwarts, she felt she could be honest. Albus loved that she could open up to him.
“I haven’t had to send one owl home to Molly and Arthur, I wonder if they are worried.”
“I almost came to you a few days ago when I caught them in the halls discussing ways in which to transfigure a broom closet into a place to trap people, but I first wanted to see how it turned out.” She smiled as she looked over to him.
“I do believe they will be successful in whatever they pursue, but I do hope it is not too boring.”
“Yes, Albus. Leave it up to you to choose fun over responsibility.”
“I wouldn’t have it any other way,” he said defensively.
“Nor I. This is the place.” She waved her hand in fanfare. “We purchase the tickets here and go through there to see the movie.” She reached into her robe pockets, refusing to wear muggle clothes of any kind, and pulled out her change purse.
“Please, allow me. I wouldn’t dream of making the lady pay.”
“The lady, eh? This was my idea; I thought it only prudent that I at least pay for myself.”
“Never.”
After they had their tickets they made their was to the doors. “Would you like a snack? Since you paid for getting in I’ll get the food.” Albus knew to let her pay for something, otherwise she would feel bad.
“How about getting a bucket of popcorn and a drink to share? No point in buying more than that.”
“Sounds good. Why don’t you go save some seats?”
In the theatre, there were many young couples spread throughout. Albus thought it was odd to see so many young people for a movie, but he figured it was just a good film. When he chose a seat, one in the middle close to a wall so maybe he could have some privacy with Minerva, he saw her coming with the popcorn.
“Did you have to pick seats to close to the screen, Albus,” she asked as she sat down.
The movie soon started and the second the lights went out people all around them started kissing. Albus was not sure if there was a single other person trying to watch the movie. There was a couple two rows in front of them that seemed so into each other they must have forgotten that they were in public.
“How dare they come in here and do this.” Albus nodded to her, a little disappointed as he was having some ideas.
“They are young, they enjoy it. They paid to get in here and this is what the want to do.” He squeezed her hand. “I did think it was odd for so many young people to be here at a movie made fifty years ago. Why don’t we talk about something else? Did you see anything interesting out in the lobby?”
“The popcorn machine was intriguing. It had a large bowl at the top and the corns were overflowing out of it. I guess that’s not too odd, all of the things I think about, the making of popcorn was never…”
“Would you two please mind keeping it down? This is a movie theatre not a dinner table.”
Minerva was so shocked that she stood up and walked out of the theatre. After a dirty look toward the offending couple, Albus did the same thing.
Can you even believe them?! Asking US to keep it down!! When they were, they were doing that! They were going at it like rabbits!! Minerva’s voice was so loud that she was attracting attention form people across the street. “I don’t think I EVER want to go anywhere muggle again! These people…”
Minerva was then cut off by something on her mouth. Albus had wanted to kiss her during the movie, but he knew he couldn’t, and now seemed like as good a time as any, especially since he needed a way to keep her quiet. Because at first her eyes were wide and her mouth was still, he almost pulled away ashamed at what he had done.
Then, almost as an attack, she began fiercely moving her lips and tongue against his in an attempt to keep him still and gain control of the situation.
They stood there for so long that by the time they stopped the movie was letting out. Albus looked toward the doors and saw the man who had asked them to keep it down. He was walking buy the concession stand.
Albus waved his hand and in his direction and all of a sudden the popcorn machine stopped working and the questionable man started coughing on the ground. When he opened his mouth to try and say something, popcorn came shooting out and he started to cough again.
Minerva, not usually one for laughing at other people’s pain, began giggling uncontrollably. “I don’t care what anyone says, he deserves that! But I don’t think that’s how the machine is supposed to work! How long will you leave him that way, Albus?”
“I’m not sure,” he answered as he once again kissed her lips.
“Albus, you made me go to that insufferable bowling alley three weeks ago and that was only because you cheated the night before by asking me personal and embarrassing questions during our chess match. Now I just beat you fair and square and I don’t want to hear a single word out of your mouth!”
