“Albus, if you are not out here soon…” Minerva’s tirade ended as Albus made his entrance.
“What do you think? It seems quite popular.” Albus proudly displayed the clothing he had put together.
As Minerva took in the oversized t-shirt with Hot Papa written in glittering blue letters, the jeans which could fit two of him in them and the bright orange sneakers peeking out at the bottom of the ensemble, she started to shake. But it was after Albus showed her his pair of yellow boxer shorts, which protruded above his tightly belted pants that she finally broke down.
“You…I can’t…joking.” Between fits of laughter, it was all Minerva could do to breathe and try as she might she couldn’t form a cohesive sentence. Finally, she managed to wipe the tears from her face and respond to his question.
“I’m sorry but you weren’t really going to wear that this afternoon were you?” At his hurt expression and because of the way he kept fingering that awful shirt, Minerva walked over and put her arms around him. Teasingly she nipped at his lower lip.
“Darling, the look is wonderful! However, I believe it is meant for the younger muggle population. And I’m afraid if you wore it, we’d draw a great deal of attention to ourselves.”
Minerva chuckled to herself while Albus went to change. And to think he was the one who said they ought to dress conservatively so they wouldn’t draw unnecessary attention. She supposed some habits were hard to break.
Soon after he changed, they arrived at their destination. For the past two summers, they had been weekly visitors to this establishment. “I do hope that Roqueinker has updated To Catch a Lady’s Favour. And you know, we haven’t read anything from Happy Reader in a while. Do you think she lost interest?”
“Now my dear, who could possibly lose interest in writing about us? After all, there is still so much more we have left to do.” Albus’ sparkling blue eyes held hers and Minerva felt her knees weaken.
He held the door for her as she entered Cyberia, the computer and coffee café where they spent many lazy summer afternoons. Their usual computer in the corner was free and Minerva started in that direction. “And Albus, remember, we said we would try the coffee this week.”
