What came to mind...

"Albus does this make me look fat?"

"Nothing makes you look fat. You are perfect," Albus replied behind his newspaper.

"But I'm 8 months pregnant!"

"And absolutley stunning."

"You haven't even looked!"

"I don't have to, love." Albus took a sideways glance at Alastor Moody and gave him a quick nod. Years of marriage would allow him to impart to Alastor the knowledge of how to answer those questions while still reading.

"I'm wearing my Valentines's Day gift from you."

Albus put the paper down quickly.

"And that's how you get him to look," Minerva said to Poppy.

"I suppose your love will effervesce in 6 months or less. I have observed in books written by men, that period assigned as the furthest to which a husband's ardour extends...as a friend and companion, I hope never to become distasteful to my dear Master"

HA. I went HA and people in the hallway stared. While it's not a totally unusual occurance, I don't usually HA at 1:30 in the morning.

Oh so funny and true. I can totally just hear Minerva saying those words, slowly with an emphasis on that's.
