New Music Video - When We're Alone

My first ADMM music video. Yay!


Song: When We're Alone by Acute
Characters: Albus/Minerva, Snape, Harry and others who make fleeting appearances.
Spoilers: First four movies only. So if you haven't seen OotP, you're still good!
Notes: I had a wicked time working on this video, except for the two parts that I had trouble finding scenes for... Hopefully you will not be able to figure out when that was.

The video is meant to be a story, from Albus' POV, of how Albus and Minerva are alone (though, seeing Severus with them so often kind of throws you off the idea... *mutters*). They see things the same way, though in the video it is more in respect to Harry and how important he is and that he should be protected. They need each other to do so, but more importantly, I think, Albus needs Minerva... Sorry, I'm rambling.

Edit: The song itself has also been edited for length. Forgot to mention that. Sorry! Originally, it was 11 minutes long.

Thank you so much for the wonderful compliment! The ending was my favourite too. It's simply perfect and I loved the way that it could imply just about anything. What happens after the fade out is completely after to the viewer and I have a feeling a lot of people on this board have some wonderful ideas for what could happen.

And I'm blabbing again. *shuts up*

(I'm not sure what to say... Thank you, though, I assure you it has taken me years to learn this stuff. And I'm still learning!)

Thank you! And I hadn't noticed it either, until I started working on the video. It's such an adorable shot of Minerva! Though, I did play with it a bit so we zoom in on her... *loves music video toys*

Oh my gosh, that was perfect!!! The song fits their expressions perfectly! I really really did love this, even though it was rather sad

Thank you Blue! And yeah, I didn't want it to be as sad as it turned out, but I hoped the ending was...positive and left things open to anyone's interpretation. Well, if you completely ignore what actually happens after that scene in the movie.

I've been trying to find a, uh, happier song to do, but no luck so far. And no time either, but we'll see.

Thank you again! I really do love this music video. It was great fun to make so it's really cool that you and everyone else has enjoyed it. Even my best friends like it and they're not even shippers!

After watching several times I have three favorite scenes (or shots?):
1:19 Minerva is nodding while he sings 'You do'
2:40 the zoom on Albus and Minerva while he sings 'You see it like I do'
2:52 Albus putting out the lights while he sings 'We're alone'

Really well done and touching, a bit melancholic......
