I'm new and have hought up an idea to get some MMAD action into the next movie... worth a try? The idea is we ,being the crazed MMAD fans we are, contact the Warner Brothers studio and ask for a little scene put into the next movie that might involve...lets say Albus, Minerva and some... enchanted miseltoe in the great hall. (Scene from fanfic 'A Tabby and Her Kit') This movie is our last chance since we all know what happens in the end...  So, if anyone has contact details to Warner Brothers studio even if its fanmail we can flood them with requests!! If you still need some motivation, think of the look on JKs face when she watches it. *thinks and laughs aloud* I know its desperate but lets give it a go, don't forget we have maggie on our side! Please help (it's sure as heck a worthy cause!) Sabercute |

Well, the website is confusing as all heck. Lots of contacts but no idea which one to talk to! The Harry Potter sectionis full of merchendise nothing much else. Would someone with a little more knowledge of this stuff PLEASE check it out? All I need is a home adress/email and hell hath no fury like ME DETERMINED!!!  |

I don't want to burst any bubbles, but Maggie has zero influence over what happens in the movies, people . They barely give her any scenes - which I'm totally pissed about, obviously, as she's such a great actress and I'd love to see more Minerva - so I really think she just basically gets her lines and that's it. Writing to her, at least, would probably not do any good . |

Maybe flooding Warner Brothers with mail might make a difference. And I don't like to burst bubbles either, but I really think that it is a big might, since Jo has the ultimat say over the movies as well, and I don't think she's really a MMAD shipper lol *sobs hysterically.*
Maybe you should write to Maggie and ask her to give Dumbledore lots of loving glances in the movie when the directors aren't looking, lol. And when...the thing happens, ask her to cry. Lots and lots. But I think that's the best we'd get LOL

It doesn't matter how much we flodd Warner Bros, they're hardly going to listen to some random shippers. They must get letters like that all the time.
Besides, I like canon, I'd rather the films didn't have made up moments in them, even if I am a shipper.
And JKR could just cut it.

I still think we should at least try!
Everyone posts about how much they love MMAD yet barely anyone is willing to do something as simple as this in order to spread the shipper love.
please do try and have some fn doing this, even though you might think we're just a bunch of over hopefull dreamers, humor us.

Well, of course I can't control whatever anyone on here decides to do, but I wouldn't do it. I just really don't think Maggie cares enough about, or has enough of a say in, these movies, in which she's being treated as little more than a cameo, that she would actually react like that to a letter written by some fans - even if we are clearly the best fans in the world  . I just don't believe it'll have any effect at all. I don't think AD/MM will ever really be canon, but it's also never been denied in canon either, and I think that that was the best we could realistically hope for . Once again, not wanting to burst any bubbles, just my two cents. |

I'm not doing it, because even if a letter was read by anyone significant, JKR said no rather recently, and there's nothing to be gained from it for them.
